As others have suggested Haye was a salesman, his level of opposition was very average until Wlad took him to school. Fury would jab his head off and hug him/lean on him. Usyk would have Haye spinning in circles on his weak ankles. The guys signature win was who, Valuev? Chisora? FFS.

No. He didn’t have the toughest HW era to begin with and couldn’t get it done. Haye was an awesome cruiser but hype job of a HW.

          The answer is yes.
So ... Usyk never gets dropped or rocked and clearly wins every fight he ever had, but finishes a few with his face bruised. Davie Day gets KTFO by Carl Thompson, but his face wasn't bruised when he woke up, which means he would beat Usyk.

          Mmm ... ok ...

Butterbean would be a serious legit contender in this era.

No. Fury mauls him and Usyk schools him. Even the lower level champions like Wilder and Joshua both stop him IMO.

Haye’s career is crazily overrated. He has very few impressive wins. His one quality win was when he got up off the floor to beat Mormeck in France and he just dined out on that the rest of his career.

I think it was Maccarinelli next, then Monte Barrett, then Valuev, then a completely shot Ruiz, then Audley, a run ultimately culminating in him running away from Wlad for 12 rounds and blaming it on his toe.

Haye was a great salesman, made great money based on his accomplishments.
If Cunningham was able to put Fury down; Haye would've finished him

He probably could have if he chose carefully. There’s 4 belts per weight class, and different sanctioning bodies have different rankings. A lot of them have obscure fighters on there, or just mediocre fighters. Haye could have become a champion like that.

Prime vs Prime, I'd have loved to see Joshua vs Haye. That would have been interesting.
