If you think Calzaghe beats a young Hopkins when he couldn't beat a senior citizen 10 punches a round version, then i do not know what to say.

Bernard does the same right and dip punch that Money does, except with a lot more power....he would not only have the reach, height, and power advantages but pretty close in speed.
pretty close in speed? wow.. people really hate on floyd.

B-Hop in his prime imposed his will on a solid man in Glen Johnson and we already knew he had good defense. That is the Hopkins that people should judge when they talk about a prime Hopkins.
People tend to forget that Floyd started in super featherweight. You judge him on fighting smaller men like Marquez and Hatton but you forget he fought a bigger Oscar and won that fight.

Floyd has the best defense in boxing. The stats prove it.

Was De La Hoya in his prime? Did Mayweather ever go forward in that fight? I rest my case.

                  Fantasy Fight:
P4P if this were to be a fight, say Hopkins up to Tito but a 140 pound version of himself....vs. Floyd when he was at 140...I would take Floyd. To much speed, agility, and savy. Close fight, but Floyd gets the nod.

                  Here is a fantasy fight:

P4P: A 140 pound version of Tommy Hearns beats 140 pound FMJR

As much as i would love to see Hopkins beat Floyd its really a fight that should never happen. It's an even bigger mismatch than Marquez vs Floyd. Hopkins would win easily too much size difference and style wise a counter puncher is not a good style to fight against Hopkins. He's too smart a fighter.

                      Calzaghe always beats Hopkins.
