Well looks like that was an 8 point split: 97 - 93, 96 - 94, 96 - 94 which is a result of DEC CLOSE even in a ten rounder.

And a perfect pick for both of us, which - on a first Saturday morning check - means a more and more lonely Koba at the top and Tatabanya second (!!!) in a tie with Mammoth and Damn Wicked.

Just a consideration, PICK EM CREW .. yet another Friday fight has been missed by several pickers, for what I can see. Perhaps, from now on, when a fight is on a different night than Saturday we should post a collective heads up to all participants when the thread goes up? Whaddya say?

Reckon that's an excellent idea Tat, reckon it makes sense for the occasional weekday cards from Japan too or indeed any fights in non standard time zones. When I can face staring screenwards long enough to get the Masterthread done I'll include a current list of player links so it'll just be a matter of copy pasting user tags.

And yeah I'm doing OK... still can't see worth a damn out of my left eye but it's arguably improving slightly, can kinda make out some shapes whereas before it was just light or dark patches.

Out of the house for the first time since I got back from the op today - I decided to go to the event I was suppossed to be fighting at. Gonna be a little bit of a challenge getting around since my depth perception is shot to shit and my right eye ain't exactly 20/20 either but I met some good people in camp and want to be there to see how they go on - plus of course the tickets I got for ms K and a coupla other friends were non-refundable and I'll be ****ed if I'll let em completely go to waste..

DECISION: CLOSE (0-8), CLEAR (9 - 15), WIDE (16+)
KO: EARLY (1-3), MID (4-6) or LATE (7-10)



Examples of the ways you can state your decision:



If no multiplier is specified in your pick (ie x2, x3) then it will be assumed that no multiplier is being used (x1)
If you wish to pick a Draw result, simply state your Username, both fighter names and DRAW, ie:




NOTES:
-Picking the correct winner earns 20 pts
-Picking the correct method earns 10 pts
-Picking the correct detail is worth 10 pts
-Draws are worth 150 pts. A perfect pick without a multiplier is 40pts.

-CLOSE is 8 or fewer pts difference, eg 116 - 112, 115 -113 115 - 113 or closer. CLEAR is 9 - 17 pts difference, eg below 117 - 111 on all three cards WIDE is 18 points or over ie an average of 117 -111 or above on all three cards

-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.

-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points. Everyone starts with 10 doubles and 6 triples to use throughout the year. If you forget how many you have left, check the leaderboard in the master thread. Every player also has 3 x5 special multipliers which can be only be used on an underdog (+100 or greater) fighter.
