I was expecting Eubank's harder punches and size would be the difference but while Smith was fighting a smaller Jesse in his last fight, he showed pressure and volume and impressed me in that fight. He seems to be more determined than ever.

January barely half over and 2023 set to biggest clown year ever in British boxing. Fraud after fraud farted out and sold to suckers

He wasn't prime when he fought the limited Ruiz. His prime was well before then. Chronological age and boxing age are not synonymous; he started boxing at a very early age. And he accelerated the aging process by dropping muscle mass to fight Tarver, rather than body fat right after the Ruiz fight and thats when Muscles atrophy from rapid weight loss. His taught, greyish skin during the walk to the ring for Tarver spelled out that he was not right.

Why is he a "hómophobe" for asking if he's gay? whilst he stays in a place that's known as the "unofficial gay capital of Britain" weird take but then again you're touched...

“Eubank Jones Jr.”—maybe we’ve now finally seen the last of this ill-advised Frankenstein brain transplant.

You can’t stick Roy’s IQ in Eubank’s head. You can—but you get this result. Standing around posing and potshotting, with no guard, when you have the engine to throw 20-punch combinations is a kind of tragic waste of ability.

You could see Eubank in Rd 3 getting complacent and flat-footed. Anybody who’s watched Smith’s fights could have told him that was foolish.

When he was swarmed a minute or so later in the 4th, he again looked like Roy, except, sadly, it was the one from Roy’s downfall days following the Tarver humbling.

Eubank has done well at his domestic level by dining out on lesser and shot fighters in between his defeats by champions. That is his level, ie, gatekeeper and grave robber. Hiring Roy to teach him this weird impersonation was a wild shot at going further internationally. Just think—he imagined he was going to go teach GGG a lesson next.

You are absolutely right. Not in the first 15 years of his career. He was only started getting stretched when he was on the backend of his career when he was just fighting for money because he was broke.

I met Jones in Sun Valley Mall in Concord during the olympic box-offs and I didn't know who he was - only that he was wearing a shirt with Sugar Ray Leonard on it inside the sporting goods store where I was and I told him that SRL was my favorite boxer of all time. The guy next to him pointed at Jones and said he will be the next great boxer, I was thinking that every trainer says that and I was thinking that the boxer was some local boxer. Then I tuned into the box-offs on TV and was shocked to see that guy in the mall, in the ring at the box offs. I followed Jones' career every step of the way. Worst robbery in AM history was the Korean guy getting the nod over Jones in the Olympics. I met jones many years later in Tahoe at a boxing show and got his autograph. One of the most gifted fighters I have ever seen.
