First betting weekend, and I was already robbed of a small win by a crooked referee who (momentarily) saves Rashidi Ellis' ass with two long counts in the final round

Good to have you back man, but for future reference I'd avoid picking the specific round number - especially if it doesn't fall within the range of your original pick.

KO LATE was the correct prediction since 'late' in a 12 rounder is 9 - 12 for our purposes, but the parenthesised Rd 7 you included would have been a KO Mid.

We will score you the full 40 points for the correct pick but adding in the contradictory detail could potentially have cost you some points there.

I picked late ko because I felt that was the safe bet being that García was an Olympian.

The calling of the round was just a hunch I had (separately) and not meant to be the actual pick.

My friend, he walked back to the corner at the end of the eighth round after the bell for that round had ended - so how could he have been KO'd in the 8th?

With in between round stoppages the fighter who declines to come out for the new round is officially KO'd at 1 second of the new round - 9th in this case. That's how I have seen these stoppages reported. Course, I don't care for most of the reporters either but that's another matter.

On another topic - why dis NSB change the way posters get awarded points some 18 months back and how come points never get awarded anymore - there are people with 1000 posts and no points. Anyone know what that is all about?
