He isn't a natural Welterweight, but he is a natural Jnr Welterweight now. It's only one weight class, and he has other advantages to compensate for the weight disadvantage.

Pacquiao should be commended, appreciated and admired because he is fighting "Good Big Guys" unlike Mayweather who is fighting a "Good Small Guy" then failed to make weight in the day of the weigh-ins and according to Marquez his likely weigh 20 pounds more than him during fight night.

Pac was having trouble making weight at 130 last year, and since he's only a couple of pounds heavier in the ring now than he was then, I'd say he's a decent sized LW, with heart, speed and power that allows him to compete with JWWs and hopefully with WWs.
Pac is, however too small to beat Floyd at WW. It's a shame if that fight ever happens, that WW or close to it, will probably be the limit.Last edited by Jim Jeffries; 09-24-2009, 07:45 PM.
