Of course he is, but the point is, just saying they don't belong in the same weight class is crass over-simplification. And a lot of people did say that about Hatton and Pac.

He's a natural Jnr Welterweight now. He didn't look any smaller than Hatton in the ring, and was just as physically strong as Hatton. He hadn't lost any of his speed or power or timing through putting on weight.

He isn't a natural Welterweight, but he is a natural Jnr Welterweight now. It's only one weight class, and he has other advantages to compensate for the weight disadvantage.

So is Santiago suggesting that Manny should go back and fight at featherweight division?

Pacquiao should be commended, appreciated and admired because he is fighting "Good Big Guys" unlike Mayweather who is fighting a "Good Small Guy" then failed to make weight in the day of the weigh-ins and according to Marquez his likely weigh 20 pounds more than him during fight night.

Pac was having trouble making weight at 130 last year, and since he's only a couple of pounds heavier in the ring now than he was then, I'd say he's a decent sized LW, with heart, speed and power that allows him to compete with JWWs and hopefully with WWs.

Pac is, however too small to beat Floyd at WW. It's a shame if that fight ever happens, that WW or close to it, will probably be the limit.

Hatton and De La Hoya would probably say he isn't blown up, but he's still not a big WW.

I agree with it. Manny isn't a big WW.

Pac was full grown by the time he was at SFW and Floyd full grown at WW.....Too many posters unsuccessfully try to take everything to such a polar extreme. You didn't address the issue I brought up if you are saying that beating Cotto would make him a "real" ww, stop deflecting.
