exactley whats wrong with it? the guy is 38 and fought and ko'd the guy both guys wanted no part of, so you should ask yourself just that how can those other two be considered better by ducking the 38 year old man that beat the man? totally absurd and ass -backwards its a failure on the writers part on the matchmakers part , the fighters part and above all else this ridiculous rational on the fans part. now its better to handpick the easiest fights and that makes you the best totally absurd,nobody with a brain is buying it.

All Mayweather fans will see this article and agree with it and love it and what not, and all true boxing fans will see this article and tottlay agree with it. Mayweather is a phony and transparent boxer who selects his picks very, very carefully in order to not lose. Mosley did the right thing by calling him out and doing what he did last saturday, it was the least we could get after a boring, one sided, mismatch fight. Im preety sure that alot of people (my self included) thought that those 5 to 10 minutes was the best thing that happened that night, and the world was there to see floyds true colors. Whaen he saw Shane calling him out all he had to do was agree (cause its the only thing he can do to showing the world that hes not scared of fighting a real welter) but no, he oened his eyes as wide as he could, tryied to avoid comfrontation. Thats the Floy that everyone love, a boxer who is scared to fight a real opponenet!!

This is opinion is so simplistic as to be laughable. And it displays a street-corner mentality that betrays a lack of knowledge about the boxing business, and business in general.

When has a top fighter ever, EVER agreed to a fight on the spot? Even if DO intend to fight the guy, if you are the one with negotiating leverage, why would you give it away by making an on-camera commitment three minutes after you just fought 12 rounds?

When we speak in terms of negotiating, Mosley has been shafted for much of his ENTIRE career. Mosley's resume alone speaks volumes, but his ability to generate $$$$ has been dissmal. Mosley openly admitted that he fought for a WORLD TITLE for $45,000, this says alot. Personally I feel that he should've/ should had as much or even more Drawing power/ Leverage as his business "associates" (ahem.. The golden boy(DLH) and B-Hop), but personal opinions are never a factor. Yes, Mosley does have a valid claim, since his accomplishments have always been in the shadows of The golden boys'(DLH) "success." History has a tendacy to be repetitive, but is it Mayweathers fault?, Hell No. The most lucrative bout would be a Mayweather vs Pac. Blame the greed of the promotional outfit that you have become a part of and HBO.

yep and thats true,before marquez fight everyone was saying pacman would destroy pbf and now after he schooled marquez nobody is mentioning his name.i see pbf beating cotto,pacman and mosley,if someone is going to take his 0 then paul willams would be the biggest threat

Not such a great article. The question is simple. Who else is mayweather going to fight and maintain some credibility. Mosley stated so all can see, he is willing to do the damn thing. Nothing wrong with that. If there's anyone to blame for taking Floyd's moment, its Max. Max brought Mosely's name up and the man was right there to answer. What was Mosley supposed to do?? Was he supposed to say, "I want the fight," then walk away like some sucker. No, he did what he was supposed to do. He wants the fight and waited for Floyd's response. Floyd stuttered his way through some incoherent answer all while not letting go of Mosley's hand.

Mosley did the right thing. Hatton called Floyd out on national TV, he got the fight. JMM called him out on national TV, he got the fight. Mosley calls him out on TV(in front of his face), he's wrong?? Yeah right. Another self serving Mayweather fans article. I could get behind Mayweather if he wasnt so transparent. He claims he's one of the greatest to lace em up, but has not foughth the best guys of his era. One of the best of this era was staring him in the face, challenging him to a fight and all Mayweather did was stutter and hold hands...

The difference is that Marquez literally just fought - and won in a leading Fight of the Year candidate - when he dropped Floyd's name. And here's the irony - at that time, Shane himself was pushing for a Mayweather-Marquez fight (and I have the quotes to prove it), while opting to sit out and wait on the May 2 outcome, only to discover that Arum wasn't interested in lining Shane's pockets a second straight time.

I hope Mosley isn't going to be the very last person to get a shot at Floyd. If so, then Floyd is a complete coward. I understand that a lot of people disagree with Shane's approach to getting a fight vs. Floyd, but boxing needs this, boxing needs some drama. It makes it exciting for the fans, even if you think that approaches like this to get a fight are not honourable. Yes, I do agree, Bhop should have shut his mouth and let Floyd talk, because personally, I would have loved to hear what Floyd would have had to say.

Another thing that is truly starting to bother me is that boxing isn't giving the fans the fights that they want to see. I dislike Dana White, but he is right, and this is where UFC has an advantage over boxing, UFC plays fights that the fans want to see, whereas, boxing doesn't.

Boxers are way too picky about the people they fight now a day. This needs to change, or the PPV numbers will keep declining. I wonder what the fighters from the good old days think of today’s fighters, sure they are skilled, but boxing has way to much cherry picking.
