Not true. They wanted him to fight GGG as part of his original DAZN deal. He told them he would only do the fight if they paid him more. Then he sued to get out of his deal after Oscar/Golden Boy shenanigans.
They came back to him as a free agent and gave him more than he originally asked for to do the trilogy.
He made sure they came correct for him to do the fight he really had no interest in.

It’s never gonna happen. In the rare event Plant wins, Canelo will say he’s already fought him. Assuming Benevidez wins, Canelo will say he can’t get motivated for that fight, and will end up fighting Chris Eubank Jr, or Parker/Ryder winner. In other words he will continue to DUCK Benevidez- like he do.
