Yeah, a fighter’s record doesn’t tell the whole story, but with so few fights he can’t help but be unproven. I felt good about David from a few fights back, but he had so few matches that I was cautiously optimistic. I’m still wary, only less so.

I’d love to see Morrell-Berlanga. I thought Edgar looked like a hype job from the start. A fight between these two would expose one and lift the other.

How about Bivol vs Morrell at light heavyweight? That would be incredibly interesting.

Morrell may present more of a challenge than Ramirez. But yes, Bivol is some special boxer who sometimes doesn't look like he's doing anything special, but the subtle things in there are superb.

It's starting to look like Morrell has greatness in his future. He's got one hell of a toolbox.

            I like this building too.
The Blue was the best , sweaty , smoky, and always rocking.

I hope that they fight , I'm betting the house on Morrell to beat the **** out of Berlanga.

Do you really believes in rankings? The guy was 16-0 11ko's in his prime. Good amateur pedigree and just coming out a ko win against Allen, the same Allen that went 12 rounds against Morell jr. granted, Allen took the fight in short notice, still, nobody has knocked him out before. You guys need to see this kid for what he really is. Compare the resume of his first 8 opponents, I bet you anything, you will be hard-pressed to find two current fighters with similar opposition.

Morrell looked good and was impressive, he's a solid fighter but to be fair the guy he was fighting was just plodding forward and there to be hit. None of the top guys fight like the Kazakh.

the guy he was fighting was undefeated, with amateur pedigree and hungry, not a pushover. It's a testament to Morell jr skills, the way he made the brave and tough Kazakhstan fighter look like he did. I think he's more than solid.

I didn't say he was a no body but his style was not very multi-dimensional he just came forward and threw big hooks from a shelled up stance.

I'm not denying Morrell is skilled he showed a lot yesterday he can take a decent punch, he carries his power late and most importantly he's fan friendly. He was there the entire time throwing combinations and while he did tire a bit he gained his 2nd wind and continued more of the same. I think he can compete with the elite, all I'm saying is none of the elite are brawlers like that so it's going to be hard to land the way he did last night against the others.
