    THIS IS EXACTLY MY POINT.

Floyd may have won, but in what fashion ? You seem to assume that he would have exposed HIMSELF as a Runner.

How can you call yourself the best ever if you have a disgraceful performance where you literally run for your life for 12 rounds. Floyd may have been scared of that type of disgraceful performance affecting his image.

    Not scared of Margarito perse.

But a duck is a duck.

Come on, a former LW with frail hand uses brilliant boxing skills to beat much bigger aggressive world-class fighters, Floyd has beat the breaks of the guy that put Margo to sleep, the times he had to fight in the trenches he did and showed a great chin and great heart, I know you don't like Floyd and that's ok but Im not going to entertain fan bias that cant except how good of a boxer he was, a guy doesn't have to be king kong pounding opponents to death to be truly great, its boxing, a sport where the idea is hit and don't be hit and that was Floyds forte, don't bag him for it except he was great at it, they had their chance to beat him and they couldn't do it, for some reason people are dirty on that.

          I forgot about Thurman
          Definitely his best win.

His WW resume is trash, though.
          Just being honest.

He cannot be the best of the era with 8 losses, this is just common sense, the only time he and Floyd were in the best of the decade voting together, Manny didn't even get in the voting. I have no doubt Manny was a great fighter but he wasn't the best of his era,

Where in the rule book does it say you can't have 8 defeats and be GOAT, let alone just the best of era? If you can be GOAT with 8 losses, you certainly can be best of era with 8 losses. Being GOAT is harder than being best of era!
That's as ****** as saying if your unbeaten it means you have to be considered greater than someone who has losses? So calzaghe is greater than hopkins? So Marciano greater than joe louis?

Thats how you beat one of the best guys in their prime.

Look at the Floyd boys making up every excuse in the book because they know Floyd avoided the best guys in their prime.
