David made some dumb ass mistakes, but has been saying all the right things in the past couple of months. He's getting impatient with as well.

Now that they know Canelo will be out for a while, I'm gonna give it ONE more fight to see what fight they can offer next.

Like someone said, Uzi blew his first shot - I know the fight will be a scrap but Uzi couldn't hold his end. so they got Lemiuex. Ok fine, but why do you come back to this one again, dude blew his shot but now he gets the same fight.

Did Plant knockout Uzcategui? Did you watch that fight? Caleb gassed in the 2nd half and didn't look great it's on video go check. He won no doubt as he swept the first half with the knockdowns but he definitely didn't have an easy time with him.

It's a stay busy fight, which is better than sitting around for more than a year like Charlo.

Morrell is scheduled to fight some unknown guy. Plant just concluded his fight and will be back who t f knows when.

Uzcategui is Plant's signature win. Even in this era of weak azz champs, as an ex-champ, Plant's lack of credible opponents stands out.

David Benavidez, say's that he want's to fight the best fighter's in his division, but he's not doing everything in his power to make that happen.
Fighting once or twice a year just isn't cutting it for him, his career, or the boxing fan's in general.
David must make a concerted effort to fight at least three times a year, to stay active, relevant, and force the hand's of the power's that be (the promoter's)
There are much better fighter's than Uzcategui, you have for example Congora, Ryder, Jacobs, Hart, Akhmedov, Mbilli, Abdugofurov, or Scull.
These are the opponent's that your management team should be trying to line up for you to fight, if they made some of those fight's, more fan's would support you.

Not sure they are any better. Most of them have less than 20 wins, Ryder lost to rocky fielding and would get destroyed like Lemiuex. All pretty much the same level imo. Not sure why Uzvategui is being dismissed as a total bum or something.

Because he's not even ranked in the WBC top 40. And he's a PED cheat.

The Benavidez Family are a family of drug dealers and scammers. They will continue to remove money from paying customers until its time to get out the boxing game.
