Haha Benavidez knocked out Dirrell way before Caleb, yet everyone is jumping on the Plant train because he looked good and it's recent. If Benavidez is fighting garbage opponents such as former world champions, then I wonder what you would call Jermall and Andrade's opponents, considering neither of them has fought a former world champion at middleweight where they have been campaigning forever. Go check I'm not making that up, at least Dirrell was a former world champion at 168.

I've always said Benavidez resume is weak but it's not like he isn't willing to fight. Morrell turned it down, Charlo lost his balls, Andrade is nowhere to be found and Plant changes the subject anytime his name gets mentioned. I'm not sure what Munguia has to do with Benavidez as that has never been discussed. Carlos Adames called out Benavidez, I'm sure David would oblige if he means it.

Plant and Mall want no part of David,Morrell said his team doesn't think he's ready and Canelo says David doesn't deserve a shot at him. So what more can David do if no ones willing to step up to the plate? He's already called Plant and Mall straight bitches to thier faces yet you don't ever hear them call out David do you? Shiet,Plant couldn't even pretend he wanted that work and mention David in his post fight interview ffs. Plant,Mall and David,all on the same side of the street and yet you guys question the guy that's actually calling all those guys out as the reason why those fights haven't been made,absolutely ridiculous.

In 2022, David can't do Lemieux and Uzi back to back. Boxing does such a poor job of building and maintaining momemtum.

Boxing is overly fractured, and its more lucrative for promoters to keep their fighters safe in house than to put them in risky fights and lose. And I am not writing that Benavidez is the one who is being protected, rather, he may just be the one getting screwed by others being protected.

If plant vs benavidez don't happen after this then what are they even doing at this point... Same with charlo hell probaly come back an have a gimmie fight aswell cus he's been out the ring for well over a year. These guys need to fight eachother otherwise whats the point all waiting around waiting for a vacant title to come up at 168lbs

PBC controls 3 of the top 4 fighters at 168 as well as charlo and this is the garbage they serve up? Pathetic.

Unfortunately, Benavidez has to fight guys like Uzcategui, because if PBC allowed him to fight guys like Charlo, Plant, & Morrell, he destroys those guys and therefore, PBC cash cows. He would f...k up their business model, which is to have guys they can match against fighters they know that they can easily beat and milk the fans for as much money as possible. One of the great past promotors, I think it was Teddy Brenner regarding Harold Johnson once said, Harold Johnson is a perfect fighter and there's no room for perfection in boxing

Canelo has one more fight under DAZN then PBC will pitch the same 2 fight deal of Benavidez and Charlo that they did before. So it's basically fighting nobody's until the Canelo pay day arrives. They don't deserve the pay day and hopefully Canelo goes a different route and this strategy backfires.

I know Benavidez is being avoided but there are better fighters out there who would probably accept a fight against him if offered.

M'billi, Silyagin, Gongora, Shishkin, etc.

At this point his team seems content with feeding him gatekeepers in showcase fights while waiting for bigger fights.
