The kid is destined to be great. He’s the perfect example of when you’re born to do a specific thing. With that said, and maybe this may bite me in the ass 5-10yrs from now, but I see his career not living up to the hype.
Boxing at its highest level is not just skill, talent, and winning. Shakur, for as great as he is in the ring, doesn’t have that Tank, Canelo, Spence Jr, or even Ryan Garcia or Bam Rodriguez it factor.I feel an Andre Ward like career with more cursing lol. Great fighter and will probably never lose…but doesn’t strike me as someone who is going to have the boxing game by the neck like Mayweather and Pac did. Time will tell.
And I only mention this because he keeps on saying he’s going to be this superstar and I don’t see it. He’s a bit cringy and always seems like he’s trying too hard to fill those shoes.Last edited by Punch on Tap; 09-16-2022, 08:19 PM.

I wonder if Shakur moved to lightweight a tad too late, the biggest names with star power are moving up with some exceptions like Davis and Loma, he will not have it easy considering the ones left are mostly high-risk low reward.
I mean don't get me wrong, I will really enjoy seeing him fight those kinds of fighters, it just that he might not get enough credit to catapult himself to attain the same status as them despite having done more than Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney already.Last edited by J.C. need to get him in there with a name. do it while they are young, promoters are so happy to let someone fight bums until they are literally 30 these days
like 130-140 is stacked and most of the guys havent fought each other. its bonkers. 20 years ago they all fought each other.MONGOOSE66 likes this.
