a couple of injuries, covid, a surgery here and there, and now he wants to talk about beterbiev. didn't hear any of this in 2019 just his manager under a tree saying the fight isn't right now. 100% beterbiev to beat this clown. calling out of fighters pushing fights back, just to wait guys out. spence too!

Next, Roy Jones beat John Ruiz, not Andy Ruiz and Jones was facing a guy who weighed 226 while Jones weighed 193. That’s a 33 pound difference. You’re really comparing that to Canelo facing Bivol who both weighed around the same in the ring? Canelo probably weighed more. Cmon now. You’re desperate to make a point and clearly nobody here agrees with you.
Yes I am! RJJ didn't fight the real HW fighters, because he knew he wasn't a natural heavy weight! Canelo thought Bivol would be easy work, but Bivol proved him wrong! Canelo doesn't belong @ 175! I don't care who agrees with me or not!

well then like I said, you’re just desperate to make a point, you’re using a significantly different scenario, and look foolish for doing so. Roy Jones fought someone who was 23 pounds heavier than him that night who was a legit heavyweight, Canelo fought someone who was 0 pounds heavier than him. Saying Ruiz wasn’t a “real hw” is wrong. Ruiz only fought as a hw and he was actually more accomplished at heavyweight than bivol was at lhw or anyone that canelo fought at 168 was. He had wins over Holyfield, rahman, mccline , Fres oquendo, and Kirk Johnson.

Next, You’re saying Roy didn’t pick Lennox Lewis because he knew he wasn’t a natural heavyweight. Well Lennox Lewis weighed in at nearly 260 pounds for his fights. That’s nearly 70 pounds bigger than Roy. Using hw as an example is peak desperation on your part because there is no weight limit. Not even close to a good comparison. Make all the excuses you want but the bottom line is Canelo just wasn’t good/skilled enough to beat bivol and wasn’t as good as he and you thought he was.

is that before or after Beterbiev ran from the same promoter as Bivol to PBC witness protection?

Bivol won't get past Beterbiev, that's a given IMO.
He is a very solid boxer, but Beterbiev is that plus thudding power.

There's nothing wrong with saying he's too small for the weight class. As he would be at cruiserweight. Doesn't make one a groupie for pointing it out.

The fact that he's crazy enough to want to try should be a plus in his favor not a negative.
Yeah, we heard for four years how he was too small for middleweight too.
