I think it's fine, Pac v PBF would be an interesting matchup since I think Pac can hurt anyone in and around his weight, including Floyd. Its a good matchup stylistically

People keep counting Cotto out though, I love it. While I think Pac can open up cuts on Cotto, I just don't think it'll matter. Cotto is too tough, to prideful and too skilled IMO to lose in Nov.

Really, the only fight that matters in 2010 just as it was the only fight that mattered in 2007 and 2008 was and still is Floyd Mayweather vs Miguel Cotto. Pac and JMM were merely diversions to the ultimate goal.

I just don't see the logic in it. I mean regardless of what you think about Cotto's skills, when you got a guy bumping up against a puncher nothing is a foregone conclusion.

I'm not offended or anything, I just really don't think it makes sense. Even if you think Pac is 100 times more skilled(which I don't) the fact that Cotto is a fairly big puncher at WW is a really big equalizer. It's at least a solid reason that no one should be looking past this fight.
cotto is not a fairly big puncher , savor.

he has heavy hands that can wear a fighter down.

if he had one punch power i give him a better chance against manny but he's not.

          Yea, against big Welterweights.

Against smaller welterweights, and back at junior welterweight, he was a big puncher. And Pac is not a WW, the power will make a difference.

We saw Marquez grow a little gunshy once he starting getting tagged. If Cotto can catch Pac coming in with that stiff jab, Pac will hesitate jump in. Feeling heavier hands than he's probably ever felt, will throw him a little off, it's only natural.

or are you guys caught up in talkin about a potentially good matchup with PAC-PBF as well?

Your options did not really capture the theme of my thoughts which is: Yes, it bothers me. I still like Pacquiao but not his fanbois.

it just seems that way cause floyd hasnt challenged himself since castillo which was at 135 lbs. Actually Zab Judah has been his toughest challenge above 140lbs

                    we'll see.

i think pac makes cotto look ****** in the middle of the ring tbh.

cotto's only chance will be to get pac in the corner or on the ropes.

                    pac-cotto will look like delahoya-vargas.

How can you say that when Mosley has said hes a strong fighter hes like a lion.

Quintana has said his punches velocity is decieveing and he hits hard

Margarito said he was the strongest and heaviest hitter hes ever faced

Clottey said he punched like a man and had definite strength .

These guys come in at fight night around 160-170lbs

You dont know what your talkin about and following the bandwagon bro. dont look ****** and start quoting things like that
