That's a high bar to cross - people giving a fk. How many Americans KNOW Canelo is one thing, how many 'give a fk' is another thing. Even many Mexicans are not as high on Canelo as you might think.

says it all for Hearn. Weeks ago he’s saying AJ can win this on points now it’s IF. You couldn’t make it up!!
Its a fair assessment - he has consistently said its not an easy fight for AJ.

You are just a hater and Tyson Fury troll - go back to crying in your previous posts on how AJ hurt the fweelings of those ‘skint Uni students’ as you put it (maybe you are one of them).

I like to keep it real - I support AJ all the way but see him as of NOW as behind Usyk, Fury, Wilder and Joyce based on his vulnerabilities outweighing his strengths until he proves otherwise (and i hope he does).

But plonkers like you will NEVER give him any credit or his abilities because you got an agenda that is clear as day. I read between the lines and a lot of people hate on AJ because of some comments on *** he made or cultural differences. Same people who have no issues if drunk white yobs are harassing somebody who cant stand up for themselves.

Some real boxing fans can give credit to fighters they may even dislike on a personal level and assess the nuances of strengths and weaknesses. I am not ****** enough to make absolute certainty predictions as its boxing and at this level anything can happen.

At least Man up and own up to why you hate on him (same thing i said to your buddy). Frankly i think AJ most likely loses but hope AJ wins and is able to show haters his real ability but even if he did it would make no difference as you would come up with some other angle.

Do you have any solid evidence to prove AJ is bigger than Canelo in the Asian markets, or Australia and NZ?

I'll give you Africa since he is of Nigerian descent and gives back to people in Nigeria which surely would make him more popular in that region.

I highly doubt that in Europe, outside of the UK and Eastern Europe, people care about AJ or Canelo as boxing isn't popular in most Western Euro countries.

Who cares who's more popular in the world. It's a metric that means nothing. Perhaps we should take a census on this one and make sure we visit every village and hut on the globe.

The only thing that matters is who's the biggest star in boxing in your heart.

So does that mean Usyk is now and will be moreso if he defends his title against the guy he beat pillar to post?

To introduce a crappy metric, but an objective one at least as opposed to plucking an uninformed opinion out of thin air, you could look at Twitter followers. Joshua has 70% more followers than Canelo (who has roughly the same number of followers as Tyson Fury).

The numbers pall compared to someone like Ronaldo, which shows how boxing has become a niche sport compared to some other heavy hitters, but it does go someway to show how Joshua has a larger reach in the popular consciouness than his peers.

As others have said, it doesn't (or shouldn't at least) really matter all that much to the fans. Joshua is big in boxing, Canelo is big in boxing, Fury is big in boxing. The rest is splitting hairs, and should only really matter to those fighters themselves and those in their respective teams.

that I’m aware of. It’s mainly the Mexican American fan base that are weirdos groupies of his.
