Bivol beat Canelo's ass, Beterbiev would massacre him. He'd better keep his puny, ginger ass away from LHW.

But there was a reason why the odds where so wide and didn't change getting closer to bell, and why most boxing aficionados picked Beterbiev by KO.
Agreed! It was also a bet with the heart considering that I am a Joe Smith fan, having attended a few of his fights and I know Joey DeGuardia.

Agreed. It seems as though Joe and his team didn't bring much to the fight other than, "Joe's an everyday normal guy" and ESPN going on about Joe's "power" in every fight. Point is, he didn't look great in his last couple of outings and that should've been brought up as well. They had us going with the "power" though.

You could just feel the uncertainty going into the fight. Doesn't it always seem like that, though? When two top guys HAVE TO face each other...one seems sure of himself while the other comes off as either annoyed [that they had to take a challenging fight] or quiet and unsure. Oscar Valdez was quiet and unsure for the Stevenson fight and that was a unification fight....something he could've get out of.

That's what I'm noticing and rather happy about....the whole "undisputed" fever as of late. Unification-minded fighters are also taking over. This leaves a lot of the "so-so" guys out of the picture because most of these guys just want to known as champions but take THE easiest route if it were up to him and his team.

It's "**** or get off the pot" season and I'm loving it! Most knew Joe didn't have much for Artur but that's what we watch for....anything can happen in there!
