It's a great story, the problem is it may say more about you Tham Canelo. My comment seems to have bothered people, which is odd but not unpredictable. Definitely not what I intended.

I've already mentioned in this thread I thought Canelo lost to GGG the first time around, so my intent is not to paint a picture that Canelo is perfect or undefeated, but to point out he's a really good fighter who is very tough to beat at his best. I've also mentioned on the forum I thought he won 1 round against Bivol, so I think he got schooled, but I also want to recognize Canelo is a great fighter and thought the fact his 2 official losses where not at his optimal weights was an interesting point. I did not try to trigger anyone, but some people came out of the woodwork with the need to kick a man while he's down

Mayweather was closing in on 40 years old, past prime, and was fighting in his 5th weight class.

Bivol is a career Light Heavyweight, Canelo was fighting there for only the second time. His previous 4 fights were at 168, no tune up, no easier opponent to ease into Bivol.

Odds are just odds. They don’t diminish an opponent. Anyone who knows anything about boxing and how size matters were giving Bivol a chance to win. Hell my prediction was that Canelo will edge Bivol. But I definitely said Bivol can win due to his size. And many posters predicted Bivol will win.

You can’t just go by odds. If you talk among sensible hardcore boxing fans with no agenda, you would know what the real word is on Canelo vs Bivol.

I still think Canelo can edge Bivol in a rematch. Canelo has a judge-friendly style of fighting where he throws a lot of meaningful punches. Many fans think it’s corruption, but it’s just style. That’s why all 3 judges had it 7-5 for Bivol. Canelo was a couple of rounds from edging Bivol in the eyes of the judges. That’s what throwing power punches does. He needs to do more of that in a rematch, but more methodical.

Why is page 9 not accesible thats why im bumping this thread up? I didnt want to post in this thread again.
Bivol ahead in this poll. Floyd put on a good performance against Nelo, it was impressive. But with the CW he will be penalised and i think the poll takes that into considereation and that Nelo was green and probably not in most peoples p4p lists at that time even if he was in ring ****zine.

Biv was in his best element.
But Bivol fought a prime, very experienced Canelo. Not a young, inexperienced Canelo.

Yup. Mayweather groupies twisting reality now.

              May found his limit
              Nelo found his limit
Biv probably won't be testing his limit

Define ''inexperienced'' as it specifically relates to this topic.

Biv had every advantage vs Nelo
May gave up age and weight.
Holy shlt, GGG is only 10 years older than Nelo and people say he's picking on an old man

For those who think May fighting above WW is his best weight has an agenda.

That video of you, Dunn and Floyd having a mini circle jerk fisting each other in unison is more believable than you and Dunn being Unbiased.. LOL!

Floyd because he dominated all 12 rounds, was WAY past his prime, and was giving up 15lbs. Floyd even said it was the easiest fight of his career. Bivol was only giving up 5-6lbs but had a big height and reach advantage.
