That it sold more tickets than any other SF game has sold this year at that time? Was that just a coincedence. Is Mark Whalber not a big Pac fan? There is Denzel and Mark. 2 hollywood A listers. If he is not a draw yet. Then just imagine how huge he would be if he was?
Compare, for example, doing a Giants game (50K people one-time) as compared to DWTS (20 million viewers per week). Can you see what I mean?
None of what you listed is indicative of mega-stardom.
I'm struggling with your spelling.

If you have ever been to a game, you know that there is promo activity nearly every night. Giveaways, bat day, Frisbee night, whatever. Additionally, they are always looking for people to throw out the first pitch , or for the Cubs, to sing "Take me out".

Three of the greatest and most popular ever boxers were Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard.....don't remember them being white? On top of that, just like everyone else has said...what about Michael Jordon? And even more recently...the richest and most well known athlete today is probably Tiger Woods...so why is Tiger getting so much love from everyone on the planet and not Floyd? Because Floyd is a ***** with a big mouth, that's why. Tiger Woods, Michael Jordon, Shaq O'Neil, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, these guys all have loads of class and are real role models. Inpiration to kids to wanna be something, what does Floyd do? Brag about money and ***** on people who he don't see eye to eye with. Floyd is a terrific boxer, one of the best...but when he talks like this, seriously...it puts EVERYONE off. Well everyone but his fan boys.

I totally agree with Mr. Mayweather, and I agree with his right to say whatever the hell he wants to say. Him and his race is constantly under attack and you expect him to just sit back?
The fact is, he is quite modest and unassuming (for an athlete anyway) and yet the White public abuse him in every way possible. Just because they cannot bare to see a black man up there as the best fighter in the world.
