Also, the NBA's top 10 salaries belong to black players and only 2 out of the top 20 are white. On every position the highest paid player is black. Just saying...

Oscar who has MORE money than Mayweather is humble about his fortune. He does not brag about it. In this economy today, people don't need to see some punk bragging how "his **** is paid for" Something that the IRS and car dealers seem to disagree with...... LOL Floyd, trust me when I say, you are not bigger than the sport. Boxing does not need you and as a matter of fact most fans can't wait to get rid of you.

And, I really don't mind Floyds acts. Even though I disagree. Ray Leonard was black and beloved so what the hell is he talking about? The reason I am not a fan is that he cherry picks, he hasn't fouht a threat in 6yrs, and it bugs me that he does not seem eager in fighting any big threats. Thats the problem I have with him. The money may persona. He being a liar and douchebag I am ok with. But, him not giving the fights that the fans want is a problem.

white athletes can't compete. thats why they created that peace of garbage UFC so they can stand there and hit each other. atleast they have something of there own so they can feel important again about sports. i am tired about hearing white people commit suicide eveytime something goes wrong.

I have always said most of Floyd's hate was because he was black. I have come to the realization that most of Floyd haters were white or Hispanics. It all makes sense

To name others, Jordan, while retired, still makes more. While has active, he was the best and made more than anyone in the league. Name me his white counterpart to that.
Kobe, labron, ...
The guys you've named are iconic. For sure. It is also not a coincidence that their ties to the black community is tenuous, at best. I have repeatedly heard criticism of both jordan and Tiger for not being engaged in black causes, So, in a sense, they have had to 'sell out" to achieve that level of success. I am not a black american, so i hope I'm not speaking out of turn here.
I am not defending any post or position, but i would like to provide some context here. Cool?
Take David Beckham, for example. What did he make last year? USD$60 Mn, I would guess. He is nowhere near the best footballer in the world.
Maria Sharapova was ranked what? #20? She made a ton of money. Kournikova never won a tournament , yet was consistently the highest earning tennis player. Now, it's clear that Becks, Maria and Anna made the money based on their physical appeal. But some people may argue that you have to conform to some Nordic ideal to get those big endorsements, and that is a form of racism (or looks-ism) in and of itself.
Blacks represent 13% of America. Hispanics another 13%. So the roughly 3/4ths of America that is white will usually dictate how the corporations market to that vast majority.
There is racism. That shouldn't surprise anyone. I don't think that it's necessarily active as Floyd describes. It is more institutionalized.
Floyd, however, can't complain. Back in the late 90's, Arum and Delahoya wanted to groom him to have that SRL-type appeal. They wanted to exploit his talent, good looks, and nice smile to appeal to mainstream America. He opted not to. He chose the "black hat".
....now he has to live with it.
