the vast majority of ukrainians want to join the eu and be the new poland, with prosperity and a good future, they dont want to be a vassel state of russia, as for the 2 eastern areas that have a lot of russian speakers, thats a territorial dispute between countries & not an excuse for invading and killing thousands & displacing millions, there is no guarantee whatsover that even those 2 areas would vote to join russia anyway, as far as i can see, even russian speakers are taking up arms against this invasion

Listen as much as I don't like war I can see why Russia feel aggrieved considering the false promises made to them after the end of east/west Germany and nato of course with more false promises. Nato have used ukraine like a shield as they inch east and they don't care about the consequences. People forget it was russia who marched into Germany and literally single handedly beat the ****s yet they were left in the wilderness as the west build accords and set up phony institutions like nato and the un. I deplore what is happening in ukraine one of my best friends is from lviv and she herself tells me that ideology in west and East is very different. Just like in Italy with North and south it may seem like the same country but in reality the people are very different.

My opinion is that russia has no right to some sort of buffer zone from the eu, the eu is already all around russia and thats not changing, russia should concentrate on being the best russia it can be, russia can integrate with east europe all it wants and the rest of the world no problem, its the old guard like ***** and his age that hark back to ussr, but thats not happening, there is a reason that fell apart, there is no reason for russia to feel paranoid, no one really cares about russia to be honest, russia wants to compete with USA, that race is run, russia should just be the best russia it can be, no need for paranoia and invasions, it has a huge landmass and 150 million people, its basically a dictatorship with ***** as almighty, the guy is hugely flawed, russia could do so much better without him and his cronies bleeding the country dry

So nobody cares about russia yet our idiot leaders gave them the keys to all the energy in Europe. Russia knows its not in direct competition with the US sure its got the same gdp as the state of florida but within Europe they now wield considerable power. What people fail to realise is that in the last few years Hong Kong, crimea, Ukraine and most likely soon to be Taiwan have all being handed from the western empire to russia and China. While one civilisation is onits last legs the other one is making moves and yes alone russia will never be the superpower the us is but aligned with China, India Iran they will be and inevitably thats what's happening whether people choose to believe it or not

I really don't like your tone there bud. You are being bias against Russia's legitimate security claims. I'm not going to sit here and explain to you what those are. All I'm saying is that they both have legitimate arguments and since neither of them are in the wrong, and no diplomatic solution could be reached, let them fight it out because obviously it's the only way they're going to settle it.
