Well, it can only be the fine details you don't agree with because what is happening is without a doubt happening, what befuddles me is whatever you think is behind Russias reasoning that it justifies the actions, one doesn't nuke an old people's village because a nest of hornets sits in the basement. War cannot be hidden today its closed-circuit telecast live action, front row seats, how can you justify any of it to the people of Ukraine.

That’s fair but think about how the world sees the US or France or the UK. Imperialists nations that have invaded dozens of sovereign nations, orchestrated coups, propped up dictators and imposed economic sanctions for decades and now accuse Russia of war crimes.

May the best country win. Both have legitimate arguments and it's a shame they couldn't negotiate a deal where both countries sacrifice a little bit for the sake of peace.
Having said that, I strongly believe that sports shouldn't be mixed with politics. It's really sad that Russian athletes have been canceled the way they have.
