If Oscar De La Hoya never called out Manny Pacquiao we would have had Pacquiao vs Nate Campbell for lightweight undisputed.

That would have been one of the greatest fights and would have likely been action packed fight and could have been a trilogy, nate campbell was robbed of it. But you cant blame pacquiao or arum, if oscar called out nate Campbell i bet her would have also jumped at the opportunity for that payday.

the thing is Roach even said in an interview if Manny loses they will just go back down to lightweight and fight nate, he said that fight is always there, but pacquiao didnt lose and the rest his history

Who in their right mind wouldn’t fight a shot, way past it, former cash cow who was drained because he hadn’t fought at 147 in years, rather than a younger, fresher boxer who had 1/1000th the revenue generating ability?

This was a no brainer no matter how you cut it. Even me, who lives to poke fun at the imbecile Pac dorks when I criticize Manny, understands why he took the Nosecandy dela salad fork fight over Nate Campbell.

Anyone that suggests he should’ve instead fought Nate clearly is trolling.

Now the better point is when he ducked floyd to make $12 mil less to fight JMM. That is an irrational decision that is indefensible.
