Santa Cruz, even though he hasn't defended it since February 2019

He's never beaten a ranked opponent at 130. He only went there to win a vacant belt and sell it to Tank. He's a 126 guy.

I mean, it's been a while since he actually beat a top guy at 126 as well. The second Mares fight probably? I've always liked LSC, but he has a tendency to take on faded guys (like Kiko) and he never fights outside PBC. If he actually plans to get in there with the top guys at 126? Awesome. But if he's just gonna hold the belt hostage against soft touches, I'd rather see him go to 130 and let the other guys in this division fight each other. Same thing with GRJ, GTFO and go to 130. At least he doesn't have a belt anymore

Wasn't it on the line against Davis? And when Davis decided to stay at 135, everything else went vacant?

These sanctioning bodies are a fxcking joke.

EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot we're talking 126lb. Why the hell is LSC eveb still associated with this weight? He last fought at 130.

That was the 130 belt, WBA allowed LSC to keep the belt at 126 while he kept fighting at 130. And yes, WBA is definitely a joke

Yeah I saw the IBF rankings earlier, Lara is 3, there seems to be no number 2. The lad who beat Isaac Lowe is number 1.

get them 2 in the ring for a final eliminator, that would be a fun fight.

I think Warrington will just be trying to cash out though and will probably get chance before any mandatory defence.

He did the WBA a favor by claiming that vacant belt at 130 and selling it to Tank even though neither of them belonged in the weight (Tank belonged at 135/140 and LSC belonged at 126). The WBA repaid the favor by not stripping him of his belt at 126 even though he hasn't defended it in forever. Politics at its finest/worst. The WBA gets the sanctioning fees from the Tank vs LSC PPV fight (plus the vacant title fight vs Fuentes), Leo keeps his belt and gets a crack at Tank with no consequences.

That's what I've been hoping for. Lara/Lopez is a huge Mexican war, would be awesome action and the winner absolutely scares the hell out of Warrington

Warrington's headbutt seems to have been added to the list of allowed boxing rules. Three massive separate cuts coming from his head gave Martinez (unfairly) no chance. Rematch with Lara lasted about 5 minutes and included 3-4 blatant butts from Warrington. Nash out.

you think timmy can get the KO later Ellie?

The 'Soul-Taker' will not disappoint. Dont go to sleep mlac, Tim Tszyu is going to get a clear win, which is more than I can say for this cheat Josh Warrington.

What the hell is going on over there in the UK?! Can we get a world-title contest settled without any controversy for a change? It seems that for the past two months now there has been nothing but rampant corruption going on over there. This stoppage was BS, Kiko had his hands up blocking most of Warrington's punches. Someone in the corner must of informed the official that Kiko broke Josh Warrington's jaw.

The whole thing started with Josh Warrington's deliberate habit of headbutting from the first round, that changed everything, even the DAZN commentators who were clearly biased mentioned Warrington's pattern of fouling as he always leads with his head.

That's what I get watching crap cards from the UK, the only good fight was from the women ; congratulations to the Aussie Ebanie 'The Blonde-Bomber' Bridges, Tim Tszyu is bring in another clear win tonight.
