Canelo hasn't had a tough or meaningful fight since his rematch with GGG back in 2018. Since that time he has been seeking out easy opponents with very little chance of challenging, threatening or even defeating him.

He has been cherry picking his way ever since he joined DAZN. So just admit it and tell the truth. You know that I am right. In addition, Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders and Caleb Plant were all undefeated, much bigger world champions too.

Yet we all saw what happened to them because none of them have ever fought anyone who was good and neither has Dmitry Bivol.

Canelo has nothing to be scared off in Bivol, Canelo is used to fighting faster, more technical and slicker fighters in the lower fights. Bivol will be slowmotion to what Canelo is used to. That amateur boxing style is just not going to work.

Remember This Thread If Canelo Loses. Canelo Is My Favorite Fighter But I Don't See This Being What People Think It Will Be. Canelo At 175 Is Like Tyson With Much Less Foot Work, Very Flat Footed. Bivol Is Naturally Bigger, And Used To Fighting Much Bigger Opponents, Height And Weight. Bivol Looked Huge Compared To Canelo. You All Forget, Bivol is 6'0, The Same Height At Kovalev And Has A 2 Inch Reach Advantage Over Canelo. Bivol Has Much Better Foot Work Than Canelo. Bivol Has An EXCELLENT IQ. Very Underated. He Is EXTREMELY Precise With Very Good Defense. He Doesn't Look Flashy Slick But He Is Very Actually Very Slick. He Will Not Be There To Be Hit Like GGG. He Uses His Feet, Can Counter On The Move, And Picks His Punches. He Is Able To Avoid Punches From People Like John Smith Jr Who Was 6 Foot And Had A 76 Inch REACH! 4 More Inches Than Bivol. He Also Throws Combos In Variety. The Last 15 Seconds Of The Fight Vs Smith Showed He Has Some Beast In Him Too. He's In His Prime, Undefeated. I Honestly Have A Feeling Canelo May Lose This, I Actually Think He's Going To Get Schooled And Taste His First Knockdown.

I do think the size difference and as you say... the reach... will be factors in this fight. Kovalev was able to look good boxing Canelo at times, lol, which is an interesting aside and makes one wonder how a skilled boxer puncher like Bivol at prime, might have even more success that way.
