The selling out of tickets is a red herring though, tout companies like Stubhub etc buy them all up and sell at inflated prices. At a guess about 7k have actually sold to fans in those 3 hours, the rest will be sold at inflated prices until the fight. Its a massive problem in the UK and one that Dodgy Eddie Hearn and Creepy Frank Warren etc overlook as they don't care about the fans just the bank balance. Barry McGuigan was always sure to get most Frampton tickets to sell directly rather than via Stubhub for the Quigg fight etc, also suited him to siphon the profits in hindsight lol.
Let’s do the math shall we? 7k tickets minus the 85,000 times an avg ticket price of 70$ is approx 5.5 million$. You want people to believe Stub hub and the others dropped millions into an event that according to media sources is a dying sport? You’re going with that?

The fight will sell out easily so they'll get their money back. I know for an absolute fact that when Frampton fought Quigg at MEN sold out the vast majority of these tickets were bought by Stubhub and sold from them on various websites. Hence why Framptons dad and McGuigan were the best sources of tickets as they controlled those ones rather than Fast Eddie and Stubhub tickets. Whatever "they dropped into a dying sport" they will get back easily as there is massive demand for this. So yes, I'm going with that.
