You have a point, tho I´m not condemning Bivol in the first place. Trouble is, should Bivol speak against ***** in a way that would convince me he´d be in danger in his own home. I think we are shutting out Russia as a society for letting ***** get away (at least for now) with an invasive war and murdering civilians, not individual Russian athletes.

Agree about retaliation from ***** about fellow Russians talking “against” him. I would butcher her name, she’s rated #1 Women's Pro Tennis in Russia, but she made a bold social media statement, then followed up on CNN. She said she was in Dubai healing. They asked her if she felt scared of his possible reaction, she did not directly answer. She just said the more Athletes speaking together the better.

Pretty dumb Bivol is not in the Russian military and he's not spitting propaganda he's the same quiet fighter just training, awaiting his chance at a name fight. It's unfortunate the current situation going on might hinder that but it honestly shouldn't these sports should remain a neutral ground strictly for competition not politics. I don't remember them not sanctioning Mayorga or Chocolatito for coming out wearing things in support of Ortega.

If the WBA decides not to sanction this bout, wouldn't that be a good thing for Bivol? He's not at risk of losing his belt, and he doesn't have to pay a sanctioning fee. Am I missing something?
