Comments Thread For: Ugas: After Spence, I'd Like To Fight Crawford, My Goal is Undisputed

WBA welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas is going through his best stage as a boxer after shocking Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao in 2021. Ugas will go for more glory on April 16, when he collides with IBF, WBC welterweight champion Errol Spence in a high-stakes unification bout.

Ugas is saying the right thing but if he beats Spence he is going to start acting brand new
like Kambosos gonna start acting & talking like he's the A-side trying to call the shots & with him having 3 of the 4 major belts he's gonna want at least 50-50.

Well if that’s the case, War Ugas! We know Spence has been playing games and doesn’t really seem interested in Crawford. For all the hate Cuban fighters get, they’re the ones most willing to fight anyone. If you look at who guys like casamayor, Lara, Rigo, Gamboa and now Ugas have fought, they all were willing to fight the best at any point.

Ugas would love to do that but Al won't let that happen. I like his attitude unfortunately it doesn't line up with Al's plans. If he beats Ej he'll be facing him again and if he wins again he'll be so busy with "fixed" mandos that his head will be spinning

I'd love for Ugas to upset Spence so there could be a better chance at undisputed for 147. But, your assessment sounds reasonable, so maybe I'll root for Spence so he can defy expectations and unify with Bud or, if not, hopefully he just moves up to 154.

Dream on. Ugas won't make it out of 12 rounds with Spence.

Might be because they are chasing they are not there, once a fighter gets to the top that's when they change into strategic matchmakers.
