I like Gamache as a trainer, he seems to give good advice in the corner. He's probably right about Lopez staying too long at 135 and he will need to navigate 140 carefully because he won't have the same advantages there that he had at lightweight.

Even Snr admitted Lopez was at 135 to long. But imo he primarily lost the fight because of a lack of respect for his opponent. They thought Kambosos was nothing. Colossal error of judgment.

What is this “after the Kambosos fight” nonsense? The doctor who treated him said he had the condition during the fight and could have died. That’s why he fought like crap and lost. Getting real tired of all the credit people want to give Kambosos. Probably Lopez-hating asses. Kambosos is not that good and everybody knows it. He hasn’t got the punching power and is there to be hit. Not many people gave him a chance going into the Lopez fight and not many people will pick him to beat either Haney or Lomachenko. Heck, even instaboy Garcia might take him out.

Everybody is building Kambosos up to the sky because he beat a very seriously injured fighter in Lopez. While Kambosos is a good fighter most of the other better lightweights Haney , Loma or even Davis best him easy. People forget that in the last two fights before Lopez , Kambosos barely eked out split decisions over Lee Selby and Mickey Bey , not exactly world beaters and I frankly thought Selby edged him. Let him enjoy his belt while he can he does not beat Loma or Haney I guarantee it.

Kambosos still won though. It's no different to Lopez beating an injured lesser version of Loma. Look, let's be real here. Kambosos probably isn't the best, but he won, so deal with it. Don't try to put the guy down because he upset your applecart. I'm a fan of Selby and to say he edged it against Kambosos is nonsense. Kambosos has beaten the guys in front of him, and for that he deserves respect.

lopesito fought like crap since round one. It was Kambos KD which changed the fight. Nobody knows in which round looser got that trauma.

He should've got his dad out of there long ago and stuck with Gamache. Or gone to a different trainer. We've seen father-son relationships work well, but when you're crying on TV and having multiple outbursts about it, and losing fights you're expected to dominate, it's time to make a change.

Whether Kambo has power or not,or whether he gets beat by so and so is irrelevant. Both fighters took the fight,both fighters entered confident they'd come away with the victory and one fighter did......and that was Kambo.End of story.

Lopez Sr. was such a POS at the press conference days before the fight. I was so happy to see Lopez get dropped in rd1 after all the talk from Sr. that Kambosas was going to be leaving on a stretcher in rd1. It was a perfect example of eating your own words. At that point, he looked nervous for his son when he went back to the corner. If that doesn't humble you, I don't know what will.

Both of them act like they were the hottest duo in boxing when that was so far from reality. I was never sold on Lopez win on Loma as being as complete as so many on this forum would have you believe. With that said, Lopez always has power which can make him dangerous for anyone, however let's see how well he carries it up as he moves up. Let's also see how well his chin remains intact taking harder blows.

teo and his dad are like a comedy duo, to be fair a bit of big headed delusion bi polar stuff can be good for certain things & can help sell fights & both of them still get me laughing, i look forward to his fights
