Steve, I gotta admit that I think the Fundora vs Castano
fight is not only a great measuring stick, but would also allow both up the rankings. Castano is no slouch, also has that quick way in and out. I don’t think Fundora would want to **** with Brian inside for long. It’s the type of fight he needs prior to a championship fight imo.

If your machine is still running at all in principle you should be able to copy the tabulated data from this thread directly into your spreadsheet - leastways that's how I've got up to speed on the couple of occasions I've suffered catastrophic data loss. I can walk you through it on Open Office / Libre Office (my office suite of choice on account of it being both gratis, open source and not lining Gates' pockets). The process might be slightly different on MS Office but should definitely be do-able.

Course none of its any good if your 'puter is just broken, although sometimes a clean format and OS reinstall will bring even reportedly dead drives back to life in my experience

Alternatively I can always e-mail you my latest spreadsheets or share via a file sharing service once I got the thing up to date. Anyways - just let me know if I can be of help.

Also I'll just clear it with the rest of the CREW and make sure there's no objections but I think it's probably about time you got the CREW password and were formally added to the team - if you want it of course.
Looks like I will have to reinstall something, but at least I managed to rescue my data. As of now I am working and surfing via a live USB version of Xubuntu, with which I can only do so much.

Thanks for the last line... maybe later on, though. My private life is a mess right now... sigh.

If a fighter is stood in on fundoras chest, yeah his arms will be too long - but if they are like 2/3 feet away his uppercuts are real effective and powerful as his opponents chin is where his uppercut has a lot of leverage - his chest height.

If he has bad vision this would explain why his jabs are not thrown with much conviction

I want to see Fundora given his shot before he fights Castano. Castano has had 2 bites of the cherry and needs to rebuild - not sure he'd choose a matchup with Fundora - there has to be easier paths to rebuild
Ah, but you forget, when Fundora fights on the inside, he bends down at the waist and knees, making him closer to his opponent's height. Charlo is 6 feet tall. You don't throw an uppercut when the opponent is standing straight up, you throw it when they are leaning in or lunging.

Not satisfied with this week's picks like at all. I am really curious how will the standings look.

What are your opinion on Mayer vs. Baumgardner? I though Mayer was the clear victor, but I am also guy that had no problem with Ryder getting decision over Jacobs so...

Also can commentators on Haney be more annoying? I am not that high on Haney like some others, he is definitely not some defensive wizard imo. Really interested in his fight with Lomachenko.

You are still top Mikey - of all the contenders you did 2nd best behind I think Subzeroed - so sleep easy haha.

Baumgardner took it. On punch output, heavier punches too and also defence. Mayer's footwork let her down as she couldn't catch up with AB often enough.
BTW - Jacobs won that fight - that was one of our dodgy Brit decisions.

I think Loma was the better fighter at his peak (he is past peak now and who knows what effects the war has had)** but really they are/should be in different weight classes - Haney will fight at ww by the tail end of his career - right now he is a JWW boiling down to light weight. Loma is at best a 130lb-er fighting bigger and talented guys at 135 - good bigun beats a good littlun 90% of the time.

Thanks again for all the work you do putting up the videos.

** - I was reading an interview by a Ukranian civilian today. He was helping in the war zone. He said, even if you are physically ok there are only so many times you can pull bodies of children from wreckage before it has a profound effect on you.

Me neither really. I have to x5 picks to go and I should have used them on two out of three of the Shields, Mayer, and Russell fights - which were all close odds. Hindsight is 20:20 though

Yeah that was the joke, I know I was probably the only one who thought that
Probably will watch it again, my thoughts were that AB fought the wrong fight, lots of posturing and Mayer's jab was landing all night.

We will see how Loma looks in his next fight but I think he has style to win that, particulary in the clinch, he will punish Haney.

well it was a very close fight and Mayer did land a lot as you said but I was just hoping for a draw at best , couldn't really see a 6-4 in favour of Mayer - on another point I never know why judges score rounds even - that is their job - to separate the winners of rounds

Baumgardner won the first 3 rounds as Mayer started late like she usually does. Then I thought Mayer gave away the 10th round by not doing anything, Baumgardner edged it by being slightly more active. That's 4 rounds for Alycia right there...Mikaela did some good work but did she win ALL of the other 6 rounds? It was a close fight that could have gone either way. Probably Tatabanya should have gotten his draw.

Haney is cutting too much weight at this point. I bet he moves up now, the Lomachenko fight won't happen in my opinion.
