Loma has been reduced to begging. Sad how the mighty have fallen. And of course his ****** ass fans still think he's owed something. Newsflash: he lost to Teo. He's not the Euro boogeyman anymore. Just like you people think fighters should have run the gauntlet to fight Canelo be consistent and matain that all the top contenders should have to fight each other to earn a shot at Tank. He's the cashcow. That's how it's supposed to work. Don't be a hypocrite.

I was happy he did it, now I want him to make Shakur vs. Valdez in ATL too! What are the chances that happens? It's not just Arum! Why couldn't Haymon have Fulton vs. Figueroa in Philly? Why couldn't Tank vs. Pitbull be in the DMV? I understand economics, but DAMN!

Why would the champ at 154 be asking for a catchweight?? Canelo tried to pull the same shyt that was pulled on him with Golovkin but it did not fly. It's too bad Canelo didn't refuse also.

Did you NOT read the article I attached?

Canelo called out Floyd and offered to meet Floyd halfway, to be fair. That’s a fact. The proof link is below, so how am I “propagating lies”?

Davis is a cash cow for Floyd right now. He currently gets away with making millions of dollars for fighting mid level competition. Gervonta Davis brand is strong and Floyd is a marketing genius. He can pair him against a tomato can and the arena will sell out and eyes will tune in, plus he’s young so you can milk this sort of strategy for years to come, so why risk all that money by putting Davis against legitimate competition, if just doesn’t make sense financially, not until people get tired of watching Davis fight underwhelming fighters, which won’t happen for a while.

GRJ wasnt a champion and was fighting TBAs prior and has yet to beat any top fighters. Walters was nothing special, beat a small Nonito and was coming off a draw and a year layoff. Rigo? Rigo is an 118 fighter that had to go to 130. He beat decent fighters gets more credit for beating fighters that had already lost years prior.

Too bad they chose the wrong date and had to compete with the Braves game that day. I know of ppl who had tickets to the fight but decided to skip it and go to the Braves game

u can downplay any win by ANY fighter - which is wat u did above. Bottom line - even with 2 losses Loma still in all p4p lists. Thats says it all.

That happens. They still sold like 14k seats, which isn’t bad at all.

As Andre Ward said lastnite about Davis - “Time to take the trainings wheels off”..classic!

Is this fight ever going to happen or fans just being left wondering forever? Who exactly is keeping this fight from getting made?

Their last fights were just one week apart. They're available for each other. I see no fights available for them for their come back fight.

Isn't this the most appropriate time they start doing something about this? Fans need to do their part on social media. Force these fighters to face each other next.
