Can JMM afford to get a slow start?

Neither JMM or Pacman start fast,I think Marquez will be better of fighting at a slower pace anyway,because floyd doesn't throw many punches himself!!Both are counterpunchers by nature!!

I don't think anyone can really afford a slow start when facing top level opposition in a 12 round fight but I don't think JMM's tendencies to start slow will be taken advantage of in this fight as much as it was against guys who start really fast like Diaz and Pacquiao because Mayweather normally takes a few rounds to see what his opponents have got himself.

Marquez has to start out strong, because if he doesn't he will end out needing a knockout to win. So he 'll end out risking himself playing to floyds advantage.

oh well ,floyd starts slow too so we might see a borefest til about round four........

it would be better if he explodes in the early round. seeing pbf is still stron g in the late rounds

Againt Pac in their first fight, we know what happened. He got off to a better start in their second fight.

Marquez needed a few rounds to get rolling against Casamayor and Diaz.

If he starts slow against Floyd, might this be a very short fight?

floyd gonna come looking for him. jmm needs to keep the defense tight, but then he loses because of inactivity. if jmm punches w/ floyd, he will get the worst of it. this is not a good fight for jmm.
