You are literally referencing a fight from 4 years ago when he was 20, and acting as if it has any relevance to who he is today and the type of threat he’d pose to Canelo. Same logic of someone referencing Jose Cotto rocking Canelo at 19 yrs old and acting as if it had any relevance years later. Nice attempt to deflect your ret@rd logic but as is the case with most Canelo fans who try to pretend that they’re smart, you failed miserably due to your hypocrisy.
Your quote
“But Benavidez?
Seriously. The guy got put on his ass by Gavril, and should have lost that fight.
Canelo gets ridiculed for close fights with GGG and Lara.
David Benavidez gets dropped on his ass by an unknown, gets a gift decision, and he is some boogeyman?”
I am being patient here. Luckily my expertise involves seeing patients with mental issues, including learning and comprehension issues.
You: "are you giving Canelo an imaginary automatic win over Benavidez because of his fight with Gavril 4 years ago when he was only 20 yrs old?"
Me: Canelo can easily fight and defeat Benavidez easier than Gavril did, right now. It makes no sense to fight him. If he does, and wins, Canelo will get criticized for fighting a “green” Benavidez like Mayweather never stops hearing he beat a “green” Canelo.
I will help you understand the comment, very detailed so that you can get it:
1. Canelo can easily fight and defeat Benavidez easier than Gavril did, right now.
2. It makes no sense to fight him. If he does, and wins, Canelo will get criticized for fighting a “green” Benavidez like Mayweather never stops hearing he beat a “green” Canelo.
If you still don't comprehend, even after making the phrases bigger, here is a clue: Read the context behind the comment as to why Canelo should not fight Benavidez.
Clearly, my post is not saying Canelo should never fight him or should get an imaginary win over him. My post clearly says "right now".
This means that I think Benavidez needs more experience before Canelo fights him. If he fights him now, his critics will likely change their tune and say Benavidez was exposed and has fought no one of note. And they would be right. But they will look like they are full of sh/t once they flip flop. Canelo would be the favorite to win by a long shot.
Same logic of someone referencing Jose Cotto rocking Canelo at 19 yrs old
Except that by the time Canelo was 24, he had fought Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather Jr, and Erislandy Lara.
So Canelo getting hurt by Jose Cotto clearly shows it was because he was green, as his chin has held up to the best fighters from 154-168.
We do not know that of Benavidez yet, because he has yet to really step up. If Canelo is going to be the first elite fighter Benavidez faces, and he KO's or schools him wide on points right now, no one would care. You will just move on to the next fighter that Canelo is supposedly ducking, as usual.
Tl;DR - Benavidez needs more experience. This match-up, right now, will not be as competitive as it could be 2-3 years from now after Benavidez gains more experience vs solid fighters to prepare him.
If after this post, you still do not comprehended the context of my comment, god bless your soul.

3. Maybe in time, Benavidez will be a great fighter. He will be a true #1 fighter, in time.

Except that Canelo actually dominated Jose Cotto. Benavidez arguably lost to Gavril.

If this was true, then I would say your level of intellect is equal to a toddler. Your comprehension level is downright brutal.
1. You stated Canelo can easily defeat Benavidez right now. That you giving him an imaginary win. So that’s a point dismissed as your biased Canelo loving opinion is irrelevant. If they truly felt that way, they wouldn’t be making lame excuses to not fight him, such as the ever popular “he needs to earn it” all the while fighting nobody who has had an exceptional win in their entire careers.
2. You said canelo won’t get credit for beating a “green Benavidez” as Floyd doesn’t get full credit for beating a “green Canelo”. That’s false as the only ones making the excuse that Canelo was too green and somehow at a disadvantage against a 36 yr old are groupie fan boys of Canelo such as yourself. Canelo would get more credit for beating Benavidez than any win he’s had since his controversial one over ggg and definitely more than this weak run of euros and Plant at 168. That’s just another deflection by you to justify Canelo avoiding the fight.
3. All you’re saying is that Canelo should push the fight back. That’s fine, but stop acting as if he isn’t a credible threat now. Everyone knows that he is and it’s the main fight that real fans want to see. The rest of you nut guzzlers are cool with him fighting this guy that nobody even heard of until a week ago.

Spare me the explanation of what your career is, it’s clear by your idiocy that you’re unemployed or at the very best sell mangos on the street for a living. You flat out said Benavidez shouldn’t be considered a “boogeyman” because he was dropped when he was 20 yrs old by Gavril. You also choose to ignore that Benavidez had an immediate rematch with Gavril and won convincingly. Canelo has never given anyone a rematch after winning a controversial decision. So spin it all you want, those quotes I posted in my previous post were your exact worlds and prove that you tried to reference that old fight to make a point relevant to today. Which is exactly why you’re reverting to different posts that you can spin and ignoring the ones I reposted for you. Now to your numbered points

And, man you are fcking dumb. You have to be either mentally challenged, a sophist, or a troll.
Look at this crap, you are clearly struggling here. At this point I just feel bad for you.
“1. You stated Canelo can easily defeat Benavidez right now.”
We are doing good here. Baby steps.
“That you giving him an imaginary win.”
A prediction for the outcome of the fight if it happens right now, is not an imaginary win.
“So that’s a point dismissed as your biased Canelo loving opinion is irrelevant.”
And you are a Canelo-hating phag. You do not even care about Benavidez.
“If they truly felt that way, they wouldn’t be making lame excuses”
Good lord. If they truly felt that media and critics will discredit the win and defang Benavidez? Then they would wait until he is a more worthy opponent to fight. But there is really no “If” there. They literally feel that way. He will get zero credit for beating him right now.
How do I know you won’t give him any credit? Canelo has fought fighters that posters like you accuse him of ducking. No imaginary wins, just real fights vs the boogeymen that fans create.
“all the while fighting nobody who has had an exceptional win in their entire careers.”
So are you saying Canelo should not fight Makabu because he doesn’t have good wins to go with his WBC belt? Benavidez is even worse. He has no “exceptional” wins AND has no belt.
BTW dude, you are beyond fcking ******. You even brought out the “You are unemployed” kit. I am shocked you did not call me an Uber driver.
That does not even warrant a response. You will just be more salty if I showed you my salary. There’s also always butthurt bystanders on here who have also taken my salary as a personal attack on them.

I won’t entertain the rest of your gibberish about Benavidez not being a win that canelo would get credit for because all that is , is you making up excuses because he’s a more credible threat than the rest of these guys he’s fought at 168.
The main point here is you said, and I quote “ David Benavidez gets dropped on his ass by an unknown, gets a gift decision, and he is some boogeyman?
I told you that’s not a valid debate today because that fight was 4 yrs ago and Benavidez was 20. You said that wasn’t the point you were making. Soooo, either you’re too ****** to make a valid argument using relevant points because that post has nothing to do with Benavidez being “too green” in 2022, or you’re now backtracking because your weak reference was exposed to be the logic of an inbred ret@rd. So which is it? There are no other options.

In just one fight; Terence Crawford has achieved more than what Canelo Alvarez has achieved in more than four consecutive fights in a row against all world champions. Let's just take Shawn Porter's resume for example: Devon Alexander, Paulie Malignaggi, Julio Diaz, Kell Brook, Adrien Broner, Keith Thurman, Andre Berto, Danny Garcia, Yordenis Ugas and Erroll Spence.
Shawn Porter's resume is better than all four of those Super middleweight champions Canelo defeated combined.

You really can’t get more clueless than that.
Jab jab jab’s logic: “If Canelo and Reynoso really felt they would not get any credit for beating Benavidez right now, they would fight him and not come up with excuses.”
Hahahahaha. This guy is so unbelievably dumb
Dude I actually laughed. I had to show my wife what I was laughing about. You cracked her up as well. Good job. That sh/t was funny.
You remind me of Sid Vicious cutting a promo trying to insult Kevin Nash in WWF:
“But YOU know and I know, that you are only HALF the man that I AM, and I have HALF the brain that YOU DO!”

Berto, Alexander, Diaz, Broner, Malignaggi aren't elite GTFO.
His best win out of those is probably Danny Garcia, who imo would beat him in a rematch if he stuck to his jab like he was in the early rounds. He outhustled him and most of his other wins were outhustling guys, he was never an elite boxer and you can argue he overachieved.Last edited by Hype job; 11-24-2021, 06:24 AM.
