It seems alot of ppl want to trash Crawford all they can and say nothing about Spence who has done hardly anything compared to Crawford career wise.
Spence has been in much bigger mainstream fights. Fought in front of big crowds at Cowboy stadium.
Crawford couldn’t even sell out a tiny arena in his hometown. Most sports fans don’t know who he is and at this rate and his age he won’t do much to change that.

I was wrong about Crawford. He's not interested in legacy. He gets guaranteed millions fighting opponents he knows he can beat. In that scenario, why would he fight someone that presents a risk? These sanctioning organization/promoter/broadcaster silos have made it convenient for belt holders to avoid real challenges. It really sucks for fans, most def.

How many undisputed champs have their been in history? Thats why his legacy will be remembered. Yall haters are funny af.

Capturing vacant titles to unify isn’t that special.

"That’s a fight I’ve been wanting since I came to the division"

thats bullchit, he has renewed with Arum atleast twice since being at welter off the top of my head. He knew doing that would get the bums arum can find him for lesser but decent money and avoids a Spence fight which would have paid more money.

He knew chances of getting spence were near zero with Arum.

Porter is his first fight with a haymond fighter and it is only happening because the WBO would take his belt back if he didnt fight him and he is too chickenchit to move to 154, so arum allowed it to keep his worthless belt.

Sure, if all parties really wanted it done, then yes I'm sure they could get it done, and I don't doubt the willingness of the fighters. But someone is stopping that fight happening, and its not the fighters imo. I'm sure if Crawford went to PBC that fight gets made instantly. Once again it's the fans who lose out.
Totally agree it’s getting made instantly in that scenario. Only problem is, i see those things you’re talking about with all of them, which is why they p*** me off so much.

And we’re in almost near unanimous agreement, the fighters aren’t terrified. I just argue that some are more contented to cruise w/little input into their career direction than others.

Well, this is it re: prizefighting. The interests of fans are in conflict with the fighters. Obviously we want to see all the best action. They just want to get out of the ring w/as little damage and as much cash as possible.

i don’t begrudge them because I’m not the one getting my face punched in, but also, I DO begrudge them because I want to see them get their face punched in! Haha.

Glad you and some others are finally accepting the obvious truth I've been preaching for years.

Spence was on record: 70/30 and the fight happens. That was right after Khan - Crawford's biggest PPV.

My signature shows how that went over.
