Some ppl just have a problem with the contract weight of 144, 9lbs(here we go) higher than JMM has ever fought before. This in addition to Floyd having a slight size advantage anyway and experience fighting at higher weights. It is not really a mismatch because of Floyd's inactivity and inevitable rust....but he will be at an advantage. May the best man win no excuses, because JMM asked for this and didn't have to take the fight if he didn't like the terms.

      FACT
True people need to face facts. 4-5 lbs isn't something to cry about.

dont be such a little girl, the **** talking I can deal with but the graphically gay ***ual references are just tasteless.

also, you forgot to answer the question...Mayweather was the one fighting mostly on the backfoot, right?

and I just looked around, Hatton weighed 158lbs on fight night against Collazo. I get that he was abnormally large for that fight, but thats more than Mayweather ever weighed in his career on the night of a fight.
its looking to me that Hatton is the bigger man.
yeah I do believe that's how it happened...I'm still a Hatton fan though
Im glad, more fans should be like you

Mayweather was on the backfoot more than Hatton, yes. Doesn't mean he didn't impose his size though.

That last bit is absolutely disgraceful.

Considering Mayweather even called Hatton a midget. ****ing hell.

it is a lot of idiots on this board these days. I only argue with the fools once a week. they are not boxing fans, they are Floyd haters/lovers!!! boxing has always been this....smaller fighters go up in weight to challenge bigger fighters.

How could we even have the term Pound for Pound, if this wasn't the case!!!

Floyd has a size advantage it happeans all the time in boxing it is not that big a deal. It is twqo great fighters dukeing it out, I can't for the life of me get why so call boxing fans can't put aside the bull**** and see that, instead all I see is whiny teenage girl like bickering.

no pryor is not a b*tch for fighting arguello because arguello at least fought at 140 before the pryo match vs kevin rooney & had 6 more fights at 140 & ended his career at 140. plus pryor was a ducked fighter, unlike your fighter who ducks fighters.

no hagler is not a b*tch for fighting ray leonard because ray leonard won a supermiddleweight title & lightheavy title after the hagler fight & ended his career fighting at 160. hagler was ducked by ray leonard for the longest, your boy ducks for the longest.

no bernard is not a b*tch. he's a true OG that spent 5 years in prison. The closest thing your favorite boxer fake wanksta mr.counterfeit cash has of a prison experience is hanging out with 50 cent. Unless the IRS says otherwise.

Will marquez end up fighting above 144? will he win titles above 144? I highly doubt it.

              That is the difference.

              Thank you come again.

JMM is a HOF still near the top of his game

sigh. wont you people ever learn.

height and reach is not what matters when it comes to the bigger man. most Welterweights were taller and had a longer reach than Dwight Muhammad Qawi(who was pretty much a midget for 175+lbs at 5'6), but that doesnt mean any of them are 'bigger' than him.

I actually think the size difference between Hatton and Mayweather is negligable, either way. I dont see whats so far fetched about saying that Hatton was the bigger man though. I mean, Hatton never fought below 140lbs, Mayweather fought 10lbs below that...Hatton weighs more on fight night than Mayweather ever does...
regardless, saying that Mayweather 'imposed his size' on Hatton is a pretty huge stretch, at best.

Did you even look at the fight night weights. Hatton at 140 weighs more than PBF at WW. Boxing is a sport based on weight NOT height.

Excuses, excuses, excuses please continue to try an talk like the situations are very different because you have not done a good job yet~

What did Arguello do at 140 after he fought Pryor just using your last line? So really not different.

How was Leonard ducking Hagler he had detached retinas and had never fought at 160 how can you be ducking a guy that is way above you in weight. To me Hagler looks like he was looking to fight a smaller man to get paid.

What does that have to do with anything about B-Hop?

Try again dip wad, you should not speak on things you know nothing about.
