Sounds like you're not giving Benavidez much of a chance to hurt Canelo with his engaging style. It also sounds like you don't see David adjusting if Canelo is able to hurt him.

If canelo was untested then I guess I'd be wondering whether Benavidez could hurt and stop canelo...

Benavidez style is pressure ,throwing lots of shots and breaking people down with accumulation of punches

Does that ring a bell? GGG was a master of that style,had a better defence (tiny movements of the head going forward or backwards,he rolled punches as good as tested elites do)than Benavidez and better educated pressure ,way more proven power and possibly strength with a monstrous jab..I'd also suggest he could throw more vicious shots without hesitating or thinking it was just natural ..he has a more proven engine aswell and could box on the backfoot with power


To suggest that the untested Benavidez has a hope of making it to round 10 with his gun hoe pressure against Canelo is ridiculous ,and to say he stops Canelo in the 11th is even more ridiculous

Oh and one question what makes you think Benavidez will adjust if he gets hurt? Is he going to suddenly change his style from face first pressure to boxing on the backfoot like ?? Do you see Benavidez mimicking Ali and Canelo will be liston??

Canelo 100 percent felt some of plants counters and body shots ..it just makes you admire how good a fighter he really is,the size difference was insane and plant definitely used it at times..in the early rounds he looked stronger

That makes no sense at all...Plants defence and footwork and being able to get out of danger are why he was in this position...Benavidez goes looking for trouble from the opening bell

Alvarez was clipping Plant more and more with the left hook and body shots. It was only a matter of time before he caught him with something big.
