the only way Plant would ever stop Canelo is by causing some terrible cut and the doctor waves it off, that’s possible in pretty much any fight. Outside of that, it’s hard to see.

The issue is what does Plant do that Canelo hasn't seen or cant handle ?

Canelo has certainly fought stronger opponents in GGG, Kovalev, Jacobs, Kirkland

Canelo has fought slicker fighters in Trout, Lara, Floyd, and BJS

Canelo has fought taller and longer fighters in Fielding and Smith.

Plant seems like a hybrid of BJS and maybe Callum Smith.

Really struggle to see how Canelo has difficulty finding Plant or evading him. Was watching this mittwork routine Plant and his trainer do and Lord does Canelo fight NOTHING like that

What odds did you get , its probably ok at big odds and whats a 100 bucks these days not much to lose, its boxing after all and anything can happen but I don't think Plant is in Canelos class.

It may be competitive for a few rounds up to the point where fatigue sets in for Plant because he cannot hurt Canelo, cannot keep him off of him and Alvarez simply walks through his punches much like what Hagler did to Hearns. Simply a bad matchup for Plant because of lack of power and the chin of Canelo.
