i just thought cotto wasn't ready for marg's size the 1st time around and was sure cotto can adapt.

i don't know anymore though. the rematch with marg would be very interesting if it happened.
The thing is I saw momments in the fight when Cotto wanted to back down Margarito he could do it but after landing a few shots he started to move again. If he pressures Margarito and keeps the fight in the middle of the ring I don't think Margarito will be able to throw so many punches.

W/coast has ALWAYS bought the majority of boxing PPVs. There are academic journals which state this.

Why didn't a sizeable PRcan contengency fly down to watch Cotto vs Margarito?

        that's a fact , knocks.

they're the ones who made pacquiao such a big draw in the lower weight classes.

you know they turned out in droves for a classic mexico vs. pr match.
They tuned in but to say it was majority west coast is ******. The fight was not in New York so you know lots of buys came from the east coast were there are Puerto Ricans everywere and Puerto Rico also.

          Get serious dude.
You do realize that a lot of the PPVs were bought on the West Coast right??

What does the West Coast have more of?? Hint - it ain't Puerto Rican.

Again were are the numbers that show most came from the west coast? And there is more reasons those mexicans bought the fight and it was not for Margarito only.

              there's 28 million mexican-americans in the u.s.

there are 4 million puerto ricans in the u.s.

puerto ricans are mainly on the east coast.

mexican-americans are mainly on the west coast.

              you do the math.

Cotto has a better resume than Mayweather Jr.. Although I never thought Mayweather was a All time great so none of them are, but Mayweather's opponnets aren't much better than Cottos. Mosley is actually a greater fighter than any of the one's Mayweather has fought. Especially at 147.

Out of Bob Arum's mouth. There was an article on it too by Direct TV I think. Too lazy to look for it right now.

i don't really care who the bigger draw is.

i'm just saying who i thought bought the majority of the ppv's.

pacquiao might be a bigger draw than marquez but i ain't gonna argue that mexican-americans don't buy more ppv's that filipinos.

                      it's simple arithmetic.

                      there's 28 mil. mexican-americans and only 5 mil. filipino-americans.
