Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: I'll Be Surprised if Deontay Wilder Ever Boxes Again

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is expecting his rival, Deonay Wilder, to have "excuses" for the outcome of Saturday's fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In their third meeting, Fury knocked Wilder out in the eleventh round to retain the title.

He probably will. He wasnt able to avenge against Fury but coming back and beating some other HWs would be better for his career and ego than leaving the sport altogether.

If he does come back, they won't let him face anyone dangerous. He won't be facing a " puncher " , that's for sure. I honestly think his brain is scattered. He looked on ***** street for most all of the rounds. Whereas Fury besides late 4th round , looked very steady on his feet. Wilder looked drunk. As he did he the 2nd fight. Something isn't right with the guy.

It's interesting to note that Fury was humble and respectful immediately after the fight but as the days roll on he's starting to up his usual mouth game. Move on Tyson. You beat Wilder fair and square as you say...so let it go.

Wilder can still ****, there are many guys around he beats easily. But not sure about him at elite level.

Wilder will come back just like chisora and Pac did, like josh is and whyte.
wilder knew what fury would do, yet didn't develop skills to counter it?

Why should Fury be respectful when Wilder wouldn't even shake his hand & accused him of cheating without any evidence?

Wilder is lucky that Fury hasn't sued him.

Wilder vs Joshua is still a big money fight that I'd like to see. And I'd take Wilder in that fight.

I was thinking the same thing and you are absolutely right but to be fair I’m sure the British media are inundating him with leading questions to these ends. They don’t like each other abs I don’t see that changing. Wilder is full of pride and fury is has a very very sadistic type mindset. Anyone who saw the second fight when he mocked wilder by licking his blood should be able to see that. Fury’s very deliberate and “I’m going to destroy you” mindset is his best attribute and what that will keep him from losing over today’s weak heavyweight crop

That would've taken years, and he doesn't have that much time left! Had he began boxing at least by 14, he might still be champion! "Can't teach an old dog, new tricks!"
