Yup... although when Fury leaned on his neck, Wlder did what I would have told him: just go down, instead of trying to pull up. Wilder originally was an ambush fighter... meaning he used that bike to stay away until he was ready to engage. I think this would have served him better, let Fury come to him, catch his wind, and when ready? fire at will. The clinches are awful for him as they would be against any smaller guy.

Yes it's cheating. But he didn't need to brawl, he needed space and oxygen.
I was shocked by wilders corner....when he got dropped in the 3rd they didn’t even give him water over the head to wake him up and let him go back out there still feeling the affects of the 3rd.....he has no footwork and no jab so he cannot slow down an opponent when they coming at you and learn how to hold properly.......footwork and balance has always been the number 1 thing you need to become a great fighter...period and wilder lacks both

Wilder was an Olympian so he must have been taught the basics of boxing in the past and yet when you look at him every thing he does it looks awkward and ungainly ........it was because he was so long and rangy he could get away with it against the journeymen but as he moved up in class it started to really show but by then the rot had set in and went unchecked.
malik Scott has no knowledge when it comes to training a fighter and working out in your basement is not a correct environment to correct your bad habits and wilder developed those as his career went on.......now it’s to late
Yeah good post. Its true. As a martial artist it took me and it takes most guys years to understand that bad habits are a killer... they take twice as long to unlearn as learning the wrong thing to do initially. Wilder has tons of them. Your absolutely correct about Marciano. He depended on that crouch, it is how he used his lack of reach as an advantage. Intelligence goes a long way at the top levels.

Fury learned after the first fight that the best way to win against Wilder is to use his weight and size to his advantage and it’ll work nearly every time.

He wanted to make it a dog fight cuz he knew that Wilder is virtually dead in a clinch. Wilder needs space to do anything in there and Fury wouldn’t allow that space and Wilder didn’t know how to create it.

This fight was amazing I'm not sure that I would call it the best fight of all time. It was the best fight I've seen in years and will surly be named fight of the year.

Joshua vs wladimir was better ...not as much clinching

Great fight don't get me wrong ,full of drama but not many hard sustained shots

Just shows how much better vitali and Lewis were to both stay on their feet

                      No question.

                      We witnessed history. A classic.
Ali frazier ? Cmon now it goes down as what it is ..two big clumsy gassed heavyweights

vitali vs Lewis was far better action in 6 round than these guys gave us in 33 rounds

In 33 rounds we had about 10 minutes of action the rest clumsy missed punches and clinching
