A guy who who didn’t come to fight won’t be protesting the way he did when the fight was stopped.

He was excellent in the amateurs against Southpaws as well. Cammarrelle was a Southpaw - an excellent one and one of the greatest ones. And AJ beat him the both times they fought in the amateurs. And Cammerrelle sparked David Price and Yoka. He also beat Yoka, Hrgovic, Kuzmin, Parker etc. by a wide margin in the amateurs.
How many punches did Martin land? Or even throw for that matter? Yes, he felt the power. Obviously, as he got knocked out. The question is how agressive was he, how up for the fight? He wouldn't even look at Joshua when they came to touch gloves, he threw very few punches, and he made no real attempt to beat the count on the second knockdown. He came for a cheque. Yes, there is a reason he didn't throw many punches -- because he was wary of Joshua. And, yes, Joshua beat him no problem. But it is small evidence that Joshua is excellent against southpaws.

At world championship level he has fought one southpaw. There is no arguing this, as it is a simple matter of fact.

240 v 221...Usyk is in trouble. I don't think he'll be stopped, unless its late but AJ should win this easily tbh.

Yeah right, the same way Wlad came for a cheque against since he barely threw a punch for 12rds. And the same way Breazeale came for a cheque again Wilder.

Funny how people only make this ludicrous claims when it comes to AJ. Oh, Ruiz lost because he got fat. Martin came for cheque. Pulev is too old. You lot are so predictable - be more creative with yer idiocy.

Not Martin was trying to establish his jab and got countered with overhand right.

Cammarelle was more gifted as a Southpaw than Usyk - he just never turned pro. Heck he annihilated almost all of the current HW contenders in the amateurs.

              List of his victims:

              Pulev - wide decision
              David Price - KO
              Oscar Rivas - wide decision
              Hunter - almost a shutout
Yoka - very wide decision twice
              Medzhidov - wide decision
              Hrgovic - wide decision

So we've had days of posters on here saying that Joshua was too focused on dropping weight against Usyk... and he comes in at about the weight most thought he should fight at.

Other posters were claiming Usyk was too focused on adding weight, yet he comes in about the weight you'd expect for a guy who kept himself below the Cruiserweight limit for a long time and is now in his third fight in the open weight decision.

Maybe these guys and their teams know what they're doing? And it's just forum folk who obsess about weight?

regarding Usyk, are we pretending 4 pounds one way or the other is a big deal for a heavyweight? Nothing to see here

You're being defensive. You made a claim and I argued against your weak evidence. Now you're special pleading by going into his amateur record, which makes your argument look even shakier as it shows you know there is nothing in his pro record to back your claim.

Your claim: that he is excellent against southpaws.

My counter-argument: there is little evidence for this.

The case I make for my argument is that he has fought 25 professional fights and fought one southpaw for a grand total of two rounds.

And the conclusion from this is simple: there is scant evidence for his ability versus southpaws.
