Comments Thread For: Tito Ortiz: I Thought Silva Would Be A Gentleman And Make 200-Pound Catchweight; Shows He Respects My Power

Tito Ortiz could not be more honored to soon share the ring with Anderson Silva. The terms under which he had to accept the fight, however, has the UFC Hall of Famer and former light heavyweight champion with a different viewpoint of a fighter he has long admired. A catchweight of 195 pounds is in place for their upcoming clash on September 11, live on Triller Fight Club Pay-Per-View.

Is there actual any interest for anyone paying to see this? Seems like more attempts to aggravate Dana White, expose the pay rates in MMA/UFC...

"I though Silva"??? Is that anything like "HIGH HO SILVA", that 1960's show or whatever it was?

Boxing is popular rite now everyone wants to box. NFL/NBA players, Actors, MMA fighters, YouTubers etc. It’s a lot of money and exposure involved. I don’t know why people are claiming boxing is dying when it’s the opposite

Tito Ortiz is a horrible stand up fighter, his success in the Octagon was because he could cut a lot of weight and outweigh his opponent, he could easily pin his opponents down for the ground 'n pound. WTF is this taking place?

So the whole point of this article is he will make weight. Good for him.

How about NOT embarrassing himself or the sport of boxing?
