Once Cotto destroys Pacquiao and he opts to fight Pacquiao instead of the winner. What will his excuses be for choosing to pursue a fight with Pacquiao and not the man who just defeated the very temporary #1 P4P? Can it be said once and for all that Floyd is scurred of the big bad Rican?
No but I think everyone execpt for you can agree that the chick in your avi is ugly as ***.
Here's the deal.... Like a lot of people, I think floyd is scared and ducks fights. His way of refuting this is calling us haters and running his mouth. He didnt retire a true champ, because he never took the tough fights, he took paydays against smaller guys.
It would have been very easy for floyd to shut us all up. Come back and take a fight with Cotto, Pac, or Mosely.
He didn't do it. He took a fight against a smaller guy, who is indeed a warrior, but hasn't had a lot of big wins. He can say he thought Maquez beat Pac, good for him, but both the MONEY *AND* RESPECT would have come from fighting Pac. He's going to be critisized and make less money on this fight. He can run his mouth all day on why he didnt take the pac fight, whatever. JMM doesnt have a whole country behind him, He was one of the least popular guys when Barrera and Morales were on the scene.
Dissing Mosley is completely understandable after Mosely ignored him before, but if he doesn't fight Cotto or Pac after the JMM fight he's nothing.
I think the only guys that you can accuse Floyd of ducking are Williams, Mosley, and Margarito. Cotto always was quiet as a mouse when it came to calling out Floyd. He may have talked a little bit of **** about him, but I never personally heard the words come out of his mouth, "I want a fight with Floyd Mayweather." Williams called out Cotto and Mayweather in the post-fight interview of his win over Margarito. Mayweather has turned down Mosley numerous times when the De La Hoya factor hasn't been in play.
And as far as Margarito goes, I do think Mayweather ducked Margarito. But what Margarito did wrong was act like a Floyd fight meant nothing after he beat Cotto. You have to remember that Floyd turned him down at the time that Margarito wasn't a big name. And when Max Kellerman had Margarito on camera at ringside before the Clottey-Judah fight, he said that he had already pursued a fight with Floyd and it was a lost cause to keep pursuing him now at the time Kellerman asked him if he had anything to say about Mayweather. I can understand Margarito's position there. But this was the right time for the fight to happen because Margarito had finally gotten a meaningful victory when he beat Cotto. I'm skeptical whether or not Floyd would've fought him anyway though.
It seemed like Margarito didn't want to fight anybody after he beat Cotto. Arum had to drag him by the collar like a dog with an illness or an injury to get him to sign a fight with Mosley. And he also took that fight for half the money that he could've got to avenge his defeat to Paul Williams.
You dumbass....Theres more money in fighting Cotto....genius...
If Cotto batters Pac...why in the **** would Arum let him Floyd next only for his career to be ended...USE YOUR ****ING HEAD.
They have the same damn prooter.......Arum will offer cOTTO not Pac...Pac will need to fight a Paulie or Juan Diaz to get back in the swing of things.....
floyd is not scared of cotto. cotto ducked floyd at 140 lbs.
AGAIN?
Cotto is KNOWN for taking on all comers but pullcounter says he ducked Floyd and it is so...lol
Cotto never calls anyone out and neither does Floyd, so spare us the Biased opinion...If anything Floyd always says "all they gotta do is call my name and its on" and we all know thats bull because many threats have called him out and he ignores it and blames it on money.
We have all seen the video clip of Floyd being asked about Cotto...his response was "I will retire from boxing, boxing wont retire me".
