Floyd said he wanted to retire since he beat Hoya. A fight with Hatton was a huge money fight. That was an offer he couldn't refuse. But if he had injuries and wanted to take a break for a while. I can't blame him for that. He was out for a while and needed a big money tune up. If everyone is patient all this fights have a chance to happen.

Cotto needs to worry about Pac. If he gets kayoed or quits again, his career could be over. I'm not even hating on him, because he had a good run. The only fight that will matter for him a second fight with Margo. Floyd can go on t fight Pac and Mosley. Now if Cotto wins against Pac, we have to see what his promoter wants him to do.
Even if he loses he'll still have less losses on his record than Pacquiao. God forbid that should happen.

People bringing up the few punches Judah landed in the first few rounds as a factor really makes me laugh!

Floyd don't hit harder than Judah. And Judah's punches had little to no effect on Miguel's chin. What do you say now, Cotto-naysayers?!
If the Judah fight is what you call Floyd in trouble then any boxer would gladly take that trouble. Man he beat the **** out that boi.

See yall in 2010 to talk about Cotto-Mayweather.
Dont you know that everyone had the same plan. "How do you plan to neutralize Floyd's speed"? "Im going to pound him to the body"

39 have failed with the same game plan. They say that is the definition of insanity. Floyd is in better shape than anyone in boxing so that wearing him down bit just sounds silly now. Nobody knows how to beat him but no one will say that. The one that comes to grips with that may be the guy to beat him. Sike jus F***in witcha hes none of these guys can beat him.

I think Floyd will fight the winner. That's the biggest money fight to be made. If Pac wins, the negotiations will be hard and time consuming. If it's Cotto, unless Cotto gets really ****y, should be easier to make the fight happen.

Can it be said once and for all that Floyd is scurred of the big bad Rican?

Mayweather knows it better than his own fans:

              "Cotto lives in Puerto Rico"

"We don't fight to prove who's the best."

              "Cotto is too green."

"I won't let boxing(aka Cotto) retire me. I'd rather retire(stay away) from boxing( Miguel Cotto)"
shows you dont know much abou tyour fav boxer...he gets gassed in the 2nd half so how is he going todowhat you propose?

I criticize Mayweather for a lot of things, but missing out on a fight with Cotto is not one of them. Once Cotto got by Mosley in a controversial decision, Bob Arum said that he wouldn't let Cotto fight a business man, and then Cotto goes on to fight Alfonzo Gomez. On top of that, Cotto is the easiest fight for Floyd out of all the top Welters except Berto. I throw Paul Williams at the top of the list who posed the most danger for Floyd.

agreed...asafloyd fan, PWiLL is the only fighter thatpresents the most challenge but Floyd would still out box PWill and win a UD

So you could agree Floyd is a cherry picker?? Why did he want to fight Cotto at 140 where he's drained and inexperience and not as popular? But yet he said he won't fight him at 147 cause he needs to get his PPVs up lol.
