Haymon benefitted from having Canelo on Fox. He also has 2 other opponents that would be very lucrative lined up in Charlo and Benavidez should once canelo bets down Plant.

Canelo also saw DAZN wasn’t going to give him the money he wanted for Bivol and doesn’t seem to want a 3rd ggg fight ( but money talks so I’m not counting gm it out).

Wonder if any multi fight deal was agreed to? Just can’t see why canelo would do that though.

This fight is complete trash, I expect canelo to break Plant`s skull inside 4 rounds. i will be surprised if the fights lasts 3 rounds. Why should I expect something else? Stop pretending like this fight is something. Plant is worse than Callum Smith and Saunders.

I think canelo puts up a better fight than smith and Saunders . smith didn't do jack ish and Saunders boxed pretty good but ain't a solid smw with any good names .

My guess is now that Canelo is gonna fight him they have to pretend he is not a challenge and an easy fight. Same ol' nonsense to downplay Canelo's impressive run since losing to Floyd.

I agree, Plant had nothing to do with this deal. It was a Godnelo and Haymon deal.

Hayonmites have been going on and on how Haymon is going to bring Godnelo on over to PBC. But Fact is Haymon wasnt dealing with some scrub, he was dealing with Godnelo. He thought he could sway him with a 40 mill purse and prolly some other bullshht that we will never see in the contract.

Fact is, getting Godnelo on your squad means giving him everything he wants to show him that they will be about him. That bullshht they tried to pull in the beginning wasnt going to work, and that painted Haymon into a corner to make him do right by Godnelo if he ever wants him on his team and make this fight happen.

So what is it that's working now?
