I know that Pacquiao signed a 3 fight deal with PBC, which is why I was confused when he came close to making a deal for the fight with Crawford twice (for 2020, then for 2021).

But should Pacquiao & Crawford both win, they would both be free agents which means they would both stand to make big money with a bidding war for their unification fight.

Manny will be turning 43 in December, so it will be interesting to see how long he'll take before setting a date for his next fight. Spence may need a certain amount of time before he can even spar, much less fight a champion, and Spence put his body through a tough weight cut too. Crawford will probably want his fight with Porter set on a date that's as soon as possible so he can be ready if Pacquiao wants to fight in the spring.

Maybe if the surgery is successful for Spence, they can fight in December.

My question is when does he have the time ? Pac only fights once a year with the exception of 2019. It’s already been confirmed that he’s running for President in the fall and regardless if he wins or loses he still a sitting senator.

I love the PacMan and all he’s given too the sport but at some point you gotta know when to hang them up. He’ll be 43 at the end of this year & if he were to fight again I’d be willing to bet he’d be closer to 44. You just can’t be a part time boxer at that age & fight the Spences of the world

PBC playing the old switcharoo with two weeks to go

If Spence isn’t genuinely injured this is a Kent’s trick

In less than two weeks the fight went from Oscar winner to Oscar weenier. This is NOT an $80 PPV, it's BS.

That's very true. If all goes well. I don't see a reason why Spence can't resume his boxing career with at least one fight this year.

If Pacquiao beats Ugas, I hope he fights Spence next. If all goes well, Spence should not have to endure a long recovery period. I was so disappointed to hear that Spence had to pull out. I was really looking forward to this matchup. The irony of it all is something else asides from covid caused the cancellation of this fight.

Agreed! Manny/Ugas is a good fight but IMHO the undercard would have to be lights out to warrant PPV. Pacquaio's purse will not allow it though. We all have choices and mine is to skip this one!
