Best way for Al and PBC to lure Canelo is to give him a 1 fight deal and a career high payday...that will tempt Canelo to extend. It also sets up a Jermall fight which Canelo would be heavily favored to win

No chance he’s making more for Plant then he did on both GGG fights or the first few fights of his guarantee with DAZN.

I had a feeling they'd cave in and give Canelo a 1 fight deal because at the end of the day this benefits Caleb Plant too. What would be Plant's back up plan for even half the money he'll make fighting Canelo? I don't know what the guarantee is but it seems they may be overpaying Canelo just to lure him in for further business. The fight being on FOX PPV is also going to put Canelo back in front of Casuals when they begin promoting the fight right into the beginning of the NFL season.

My question is still....how does Eddie Hearn fit in all of this?

Silence is a great thing in boxing that means things are being worked out behind the scenes compared to the IDIOTS who run to the media and try to negotiate through the Media

The negotiation tactics Hearn was using was never going to work. This was always the most likely scenario with DAZN getting the international rights to the fight.

Credit to Canelo setting the standards for others. A true champion IMO.
