watching the "nothing the pbc does is ever good or right" shtick from alot of you is tiresome...and sad....its always the same stuff...yet haymon gets the fights for his guys...and some of his guys are the most recognizable US boxing stars that exist........
you're all over the place. you seem to be a Haymonite...you've also mentioned Bud various times..lol. I don't follow you. I'm saying $80 is ******...yet you justify some glory that boxers are getting paid and ''yo you iz mad...'' lol

surely you know about distro and fights that are not $80 overseas? I'll still be watching this fight LIVE! Guess what! I aint paying no damn $80 bruh. I'd say fights in the wee morning would've never been ideal to pay such a premium anyways. I mean near 60quid nah.. lol. Also, in other countries the fight is free....

im not even trying to knock guys here...but lets face...over 90 percent of this board are "average joes"..some with families...maybe a kid or 3.....their perspective is a lot different from al haymons....al haymon knows business and he knows markets...when he stops putting them on youll know they are dead...till then i have to believe that haymon knows what hes doing...id bet on him knowing the markets better than the "average joes" here(myself included)

More than Haymon, it seems like FOX prefers the PPV route. There was an article in the past on that. FOX's outlook on boxing is different than SHO's. FOX uses the old WWE model where they used to set up fights on RAW and then put the big fights on PPV. With more streaming buys and cable companies getting less of the split, it makes it easier to put on PPVs as you don't have to do the same amount of buys as you once did. Cable companies used to take 50% of the revenue and now that has dropped to about 40% and for streaming buys the split benefits the promoters even more. UFC went completely to ESPN+ and they have been thriving. If you notice if you have DirecTV or Dish, they promote fights far less than they used to. The model has completely changed.

hahaha yeah...that might happen! stay mad....you were deadwrong about plant....deadwrong about bivol/canelo...and i lost count on how many other things....like i said...if plant/canelo doesnt happen next and bivol/canelo does ill admit i was wrong and give you props....because im a man like that.....but id be willing to make that bet that i will have to do no such thing...and youll be wrong again
Why you continue to pom pom in every thread about PBC/Haymon putting every mediocre fight on PPV likes its a win for yourself is comical. Sure,it's great for the fighters if it's successful but homeboy,Haymon isn't just putting these fights for the sole benefit of his fighters. They're doing it because the coffers are no longer there and he has no choice but to,otherwise they can't afford to fund the card.

I get it though, don't like it,don't buy it right...and I don't but Dazn and Top Rank found a way to give us fans great fights, get fighters paid well all without trying to shove $80ppv fights down our throats...exactly what PBC's motto was when launched..."bringing boxing to free TV doe". Haymon doesn't doesn't give 2 ****s about you either like you mentioned to that other poster so to gloat over another $80 ppv as "winning" because the man is Black is asinine man, have some dignity and self respect.

Canelo had signed a two fight deal with Matchroom/DAZN and that one expired after the BJS fight. He kept Hearn as his promoter but was a network free agent. Even this fight is only a one off so after the fight, he can fight back on DAZN or even ESPN.

Everyone here saying Canelo is gonna end up with PBC is CRAZY! Exactly the reason he didn’t want a 3 fight deal he doesn’t wanna be contractually obligated to any promotion. He fought to hard to be a free agent, which is what he’ll continue to do, and he likes working with Eddy. He can have Eddy negotiate his fights and not be obligated to DAZN or any other promotion
