Even though ruiz fa t I got impression he trains hard, I guess because ruiz has boxed so many years. And ruiz is skilled you wonder why skills dont traǹslate to defense?

I gotta say, first time I ever agree with Abel Sanchez.

Or maybe when he admitted that Golovkin let Canelo take it to him too much in that second fight was the first time I guess. Other then that this is the first.

I feel that Ruiz fights better when he’s bigger. He looked uninspired against Arreola, who was basically brought in to make Andy look good.

I’m not a big UFC guy but it reminds me of Roy Nelson in UFC. He was knocking people out when he was shaped like a barrel. Then he started to really take his training seriously and get his weight down because of some notion of what a fighter should look like. His power was diminished and he wasn’t the same fighter.

I would have Andy come in around his Joshua I weight.

I disagree but can understand why Wilder isn't right for Ruiz, right now.

I think Ruiz beats Wilder and that would propel him back up into a trilogy fight with AJ or with Fury...because lets be honest, that's all any boxer wants right now - the big payday fighting Joshua or Luke.

Parker fought the best version of Ruiz for a close decision. Since then they've both regressed but may have improved with their new trainers.

Both of their next fights should tell us...

...and I'll believe wilder still has one punch k.o power when I see it, but if he ever decided to stand and trade with Ruiz he'd come off second best.

I do agree. One right hand from Wilder and Ruiz will be sleeping for a bit of time. Wilder is sloppy, but good enough to beat most heavyweights.

Although I agree I think Wilder stops Ruiz I still get the feeling that Abel has a certain bitterness towards fighters that left his gym

                  Yeah. Abel sounds Salty.
He's made comments about Ruiz not performing too good when they were together.
                  I get it.
But I read a comment where he mentioned Ruiz being afraid to Spar certain guys in the gym.
That's shet you should keep to yourself if you're a legit Coach.

The only people who think Ruiz stands a good chance against Wilder are Joshua's bitchmade groupie fangirls who need to justify to themselves why Joshua wouldn't get blasted by Wilder in quick succession.

Ruiz is just too fat and plodding. Never seen any particular head movement and all Joshua had to do was drop weight and fight behind a jab to completely nullify Ruiz offensive capability. His fight with Arreola kinda showed him up for the rank 10-15 fighter everyone knows he is. That, and there is really a cointoss whether he commits to a good camp.
