but I welcome the rematch, Teo vs Loma is one of the best match up in boxing, maybe the best after Spence vs Bud.

It is much easier for fighters in higher weight classes to take fighters lightly 'Mainly the heavyweight divisions'.
But in the lower weight classes? How can a fighter take a opponent lightly, then still make the weight? With all these check weigh ins and what not, you have to really be honest with yourself 'This taking lightly nonsense, does not really add up in the lower weight divisions'.
Physically Lomachenko did not take Lopez lightly.
He just got beat, and maybe used the wrong tactics on fight night.
Say what you want about Floyd Mayweather, but one of his greatest abilities was his ability to re-adapt INSIDE of the ring. It never took him a rematch or a few fights rebuilding to overcome a technical issue encounter in a opponent.
Floyd Mayweather would have the ability to adapt and overcome inside of the ring 'On fight night'.
Lomachenko had a issue with Lopez, and it was a technically one. 'He could not adapt to it, and did nothing on fight night'.

Loma didn't start slow. This is the same as people saying "Oscar forgot to throw his jab". He was afraid of Teo's counters, that's why Loma was scared to throw. Teo was timing him. He only picked up after Teo got gassed from whipping his ass, but Teo went right back to giving Loma the business when he got his second wind. Loma probably would have been stopped if the fight was a round longer.
